Selected Grade 5 pupils of Mabini Elementary School, Bangkal, Davao City, recently took part in a meaningful community engagement led by the Ateneo Religious Organization (ARO) in collaboration with the AdDU SHS Campus Ministry and the Arrupe Office.
Through short inputs and heartfelt sharings, ARO volunteers from the Ateneo de Davao Senior High School facilitated small group encounters among the pupils, creating a space where stories, insights, and simple life lessons were shared. The activity became more than just a program, it was a moment of connection, encouragement, and learning for both the young students and the volunteers.
The day ended on a joyful note as the ARO volunteers also prepared a simple ๐ฑ๐ข๐ฉ๐ข๐ญ๐ช๐ฑ๐ข๐บ, distributing snacks to the children and filling the room with smiles and laughter.
Moments like these remind us that even the simplest acts of presence, kindness, and service can plant seeds of hope. And in every shared story and every smile, we are reminded that when young people choose to serve, communities grow stronger and brighter together.
