𝗖𝗦𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗖𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗚𝗡, 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗧 𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡

In celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, the Civil Service Commission Field Office–Lanao del Sur conducted an advocacy campaign, monitoring, and mentoring visit at the Islamic Municipality of Tamparan.

The activity was led by Director Hizami C. Amerol, Director II of the CSC Field Office–Lanao del Sur, who served as the resource speaker on the Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) and provided important updates on Civil Service rules and policies.

Director Amerol highlighted the accountability and responsibilities of every public servant. He reminded everyone that government service must be rendered with passion, sincerity, and compassion. As public servants, we are accountable not only to the government and the people we serve, but ultimately to Allah for how faithfully we fulfill the duties entrusted to us.

Public service is more than a profession—it is an ibadah and an amanah that must be carried out with integrity, dedication, and excellence.

Director Amerol also emphasized the proper implementation of the SPMS—not merely as a compliance requirement, but as an essential tool for improving employee performance, strengthening accountability, and ensuring the efficient, responsive, and people-centered delivery of government services.

Under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon. Mohammad Juhar D. Disomimba, the LGU continues to strengthen its internal systems, promote teamwork, and foster a positive working environment where employees are encouraged to perform their responsibilities with professionalism and genuine concern for every I-Tamparanun.

The Municipal Budget Officer delivered the welcome remarks, while Councilor Ameril Moumin D. Ali, who attended as the representative of the Municipal Mayor, affirmed the administration’s support and formally concluded the program through his closing remarks.

The Islamic Municipality of Tamparan extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Civil Service Commission Field Office–Lanao del Sur, CHRMP Lanao del Sur Chapter, and Ms. Aima B. Ashary Sarip, HRMO II, together with the Municipal HRMO staff, for successfully facilitating the activity. The LGU likewise thanks Councilor Ameril Moumin D. Ali, the municipal department heads, and employees for their valuable participation, support, and cooperation.

May this advocacy, monitoring, and mentoring visit renew our commitment to serving with integrity, competence, compassion, and sincerity.

Another significant milestone for education in the Islamic Municipality of Tamparan.

On September 9, 2026, Municipal Mayor Hon. Mohammad Juhar D. Disomimba, together with fellow Local Chief Executives from Lanao del Sur, joined the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing with the Department of Education (DepEd) for the implementation of the Basic Education Facilities Program (BEFP).

Through this partnership, qualified LGUs are given a greater role in accelerating the construction, replacement, reconstruction, rehabilitation, repair, and improvement of classrooms and school buildings—helping address infrastructure needs and provide safer and more conducive learning environments for our children.

For Tamparan, this partnership reflects the Municipal Government’s continuing commitment to pursue opportunities and build stronger partnerships for the education and future of every I-TAMPARANUN learner.

The celebration brought together government agencies and public servants across Lanao del Sur in recognition of their dedication, commitment, and invaluable contributions to public service. The kick-off featured a float parade, symbolizing the unity and collective spirit of government workers in serving the Bangsamoro people and the Filipino nation.

This year’s celebration carries the theme, “𝐁𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐢, 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢: 𝐏𝐮𝐬𝐨, 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧,” highlighting the values of Puso sa Serbisyo, Dangal sa Tungkulin, at Galing sa Paglilingkod—values that remind every government employee of the true essence of being a Lingkod Bayani.

The Local Government Unit of Tamparan, under the leadership of our Municipal Mayor, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐉𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐫 𝐃. 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚, successfully conducted the Training on the Establishment of Community Nursery Hub for Sustainable Food Security held yesterday at the STDD Gymnasium.

The activity brought together dedicated women from the community and other stakeholders in strengthening community-based initiatives toward sustainable food production, food security, and resilient communities.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the Bangsamoro Women Commission (BWC) – Lanao del Sur, headed by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐌. 𝐇. 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐜 (Executive Assistant II), for spearheading and supporting this meaningful initiative, and to our lecturer from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR) – Lanao del Sur, 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, for sharing her valuable knowledge and expertise.

The activity was also graced by the presence of our Municipal Budget Officer 𝐀𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐞 𝐌. 𝐀𝐝𝐧𝐚𝐧, Police Officer 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐨 (𝐖𝐂𝐏𝐃𝐎), GAD Focal Person/HRMO 𝐀𝐞𝐦𝐦𝐚 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐲-𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐩, and Municipal Tourism Officer 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐃. 𝐈𝐛𝐫𝐚-𝐇𝐚𝐝𝐣𝐢 𝐅𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐳 and the Master of ceremony 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥.

We also extend our gratitude to all participating LGU-Tamparan employees, student interns, community representatives, and stakeholders whose presence and active participation contributed to the success of the training.

The Local Government Unit of Tamparan joined the celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) through simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony, Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan and the signing of the Lingkod Bayani Commitment Wall.

The activity was led by Municipal Mayor 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐉𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐫 𝐃. 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚, represented by the Sangguniang Bayan Member on behalf of the Municipal Vice Mayor, together with the Barangay Chairpersons, LGU Department Heads and employees, student interns, Market Supervisor, Traditional Leaders, Imam and other stakeholders. Their participation reflected a collective commitment to uphold the values of integrity, accountability, excellence, and dedicated public service.

Also joining the celebration were our partner line agencies and uniformed personnel, including 𝐌𝐒𝐒𝐃, 𝐌𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌𝐎, 𝐑𝐇𝐔, 𝐏𝐍𝐏, and 𝐁𝐅𝐏 𝐓𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍, demonstrating a shared commitment to responsive, inclusive, and people-centered governance.

Alhamdulillah, another meaningful step toward a Progressive Tamparan.

The administration of Mayor Mohammad Juhar D. Disomimba continues to explore opportunities and seek funding and technical support for the establishment of a sustainable potable water supply system for the Islamic Municipality of Tamparan—one that can eventually provide Level III water service with individual house-to-house connections for our constituents.

As part of this continuing effort, the Islamic Municipality of Tamparan welcomed the technical team of the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) for the site validation and technical assessment of the proposed water supply project last August 27, 2026. The team met with Mayor Disomimba and conducted an actual field assessment, including a drone survey, to obtain a broader view of the proposed service area, possible water sources and assess conditions relevant to the development of the system.

The proposed project is envisioned to initially serve the municipality’s built-up areas and progressively expand as resources and system capacity become available. The long-term vision is to establish a Level III Potable Water Supply System with house-to-house connections, gradually extending its network until safe and reliable potable water can reach households throughout Tamparan.

For the present administration, this initiative goes beyond providing water. Access to safe and reliable potable water is an investment in the health, dignity, and future of our people. It can contribute to better sanitation and nutrition, help in the continuing fight against malnutrition, and improve the overall health and quality of life of I-tamparanun/Tamparanian families.

The development of a reliable water system can likewise create employment and livelihood opportunities, support local businesses, and help attract potential investors who require dependable basic utilities. Increased economic activities can, in turn, strengthen the revenue-generating capacity of the LGU, allowing the municipality to sustain and expand programs in health, nutrition, education, infrastructure, livelihood, social services, and other development priorities.

The Islamic Municipality of Tamparan expresses its sincere appreciation to MinDA and its technical team for conducting the validation and assessment and for supporting the municipality as it works to move this important initiative forward.

The journey toward its realization still requires technical preparation, resource mobilization, and the necessary development processes, but this validation represents another significant step.

InshaAllah, we envision a future where safe and reliable water flows directly to every I-tamparanun/Tamparanian home—bringing better health, greater opportunities, stronger local economic activity, and a more sustainable and Progressive Tamparan.

On August 26, 2026, the Islamic Municipality of Tamparan underwent the Onsite Provincial Validation for the Local Governance Functionality Appraisal (LoGFA) conducted by the MILG Lanao del Sur Provincial Field Office.

The validation was led by Assistant Provincial Director Sohra C. Basir and the LoGFA Validation Team, under the leadership of Provincial Director Cader Indar Jr., to assess the functionality and verify the accomplishments of the LGU across the key areas of local governance.

Mayor Mohammad Juhar D. Disomimba personally joined the activity together with the Municipal Department Heads, functionaries, and LoGFA TWG, who provided the necessary documents and supporting evidence for the assessment.

The LGU extends its sincere appreciation to the MILG Lanao del Sur Provincial Field Office and the LoGFA Validation Team, as well as MLGOO Pinky Macapundag for her continued guidance and coordination, with special appreciation to Ma’am Aya for her dedicated assistance throughout the process.

The activity reinforces Tamparan’s continuing commitment to functional institutions, accountability, responsive governance, and effective service delivery for its people.

Last Monday, August 24, 2026, the Islamic Municipality of Tamparan, in partnership with the Ministry of Trade, Investments and Tourism (MTIT) – Lanao del Sur Provincial Office, successfully conducted the Organization of the Tamparan Business Chamber, marking another significant step toward strengthening local enterprise and expanding the participation of the private sector in the municipality’s development.

Municipal Mayor Hon. Mohammad Juhar D. Disomimba personally delivered the Welcome Address, where he emphasized that the continued progress of Tamparan must be anchored on good governance, shared responsibility, and meaningful participation of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), the business sector, and the community. For the Mayor, ensuring that the municipality runs effectively is only part of the goal—the gains of development must also be sustained through strong institutions and active involvement of the people.

The organization of the Tamparan Business Chamber provides local entrepreneurs with a platform for stronger coordination, representation, and partnership with government. It is envisioned to help promote local investment, entrepreneurship, employment opportunities, and a more vibrant local economy, while giving the business community a greater role in shaping Tamparan’s development.

This initiative directly supports the LGU’s vision of positioning the Islamic Municipality of Tamparan as a sustainable center of commerce, education, health and wellness in the Basak Area, founded on inclusive development, resilience, participatory governance, and Islamic values.

Through stronger partnerships among government, CSOs, businesses, and communities, Tamparan is building not only projects, but institutions and partnerships that can sustain progress for generations to come, InshaAllah.
