The Local Government Unit of the Islamic Municipality of Tamparan proudly extends its warmest congratulations to BASAK TAMPARAN MULONDO TARAKA ร— ROSAL for being crowned Champion of the Ranaw Basketball Tournament 2026 after defeating Team Fahid P. Alonto Construction with a final score of 67โ€“56 in an electrifying championship game held at the New Capitol Gymnasium.

The championship finale was nothing short of spectacular. The New Capitol Gymnasium was packed to capacityโ€”"hindi na mahulugan ng karayom"โ€”as basketball enthusiasts from across the province gathered to witness the much-awaited championship game. The excitement reached even more fans as the game was streamed live through the official page of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur, allowing countless supporters to follow every play and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship and unity.

This hard-earned victory reflects the discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and determination of every player, coach, and supporter behind BASAK TMT Rosal, the proud joint team of the municipalities of Tamparan, Taraka, and Mulondo. We also commend Team Fahid P. Alonto Construction for an outstanding performance and for making the championship game truly competitive and memorable.

The LGU Tamparan likewise conveys its sincere appreciation to Hon. Mohammad Juhar D. ๐ŸŒฟ 52nd National Nutrition Month Celebration Successfully Hosted by the Islamic Municipality of Tamparan ๐ŸŒฟ

July 21, 2026 | The Islamic Municipality of Tamparan, under the leadership of Hon. Mohammad Juhar D. Disomimba, with the support of Vice Mayor Hon. Haroun Al-Rashid "Toxi" D. Lucman III and the Sangguniang Bayan, successfully hosted the Provincial Kick-Off Celebration of the 52nd National Nutrition Month, spearheaded by the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) Lanao del Sur under the leadership of Dr. Alinader D. Minalang, MPH, MSPH-MHA, CESO, Provincial Health Officer II.

Centered on this year's theme, "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!", the celebration brought together national government agencies, provincial offices, local government units, schools, barangays, partner organizations, and community stakeholders in a day of meaningful activities promoting nutrition, environmental stewardship, and public health.

The program featured an inter-agency caravan, tree planting, Nutrition Zumba, informative lectures, booth judging, poster-making and nutrition jingle competitions, the Pledge of Commitment, and an awarding ceremonyโ€”highlighting the collective commitment of all partners toward building healthier, more resilient communities.

The Islamic Municipality of Tamparan proudly marks another significant milestone in strengthening its emergency response and public safety as it officially received a Medium Fire Truck during the ceremonial turnover held today at the Provincial Capitol of Lanao del Sur.

The ceremonial turnover was spearheaded by Vice Governor Mohammad Khalid "Mujam" Raki-in Adiong, together with Congressman Ziaur-Rahman "Zia" Alonto Adiong, during the distribution of fire trucks to the municipalities of the First District of Lanao del Sur. On behalf of the Local Government Unit of Islamic Municipality of Tamparan, Mayor Mohammad Juhar D. Disomimba, together with Acting Municipal Fire Marshal SFO1 Alenasser M. Romero, formally received the medium fire truck.

The arrival of this fire truck is very timely comes after the successful completion and turnover of the BFP Tamparan Fire Station, further enhancing the municipality's capability to respond swiftly and effectively to fire incidents and other emergencies. Together, these milestones significantly strengthen Tamparan's disaster preparedness and emergency response system, ensuring better protection for the lives and properties of every I-Tamparanun.

Congressman Ziaur-Rahman "Zia" Alonto Adiong's support for Tamparan extends beyond this important assistance. Just two days ago, DPWH Region X, in coordination with the Municipal Engineering Office of Tamparan, conducted a joint inspection of the recently fire-damaged Talub Primary School in preparation for the rehabilitation of its three-classroom building. The rehabilitation project will be funded through the Congressional Fund of Congressman Ziaur-Rahman "Zia" Alonto Adiong, bringing hope for the immediate restoration of a safe and conducive learning environment for our learners and teachers.

The Local Government Unit of Islamic Municipality of Tamparan extends its heartfelt gratitude to Vice Governor Mohammad Khalid "Mujam" Raki-in Adiong, Congressman Ziaur-Rahman "Zia" Alonto Adiong and the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur under the leadership of Governor Dr. Mamintal "Bombit" Adiong Jr for their continued support in strengthening the municipality's emergency response capabilities. Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng 67th Araw ng Lanao del Sur โ€“ Pakaradiyaan o Sarimanok 2026, matagumpay na nagsilbing host municipality ang Islamic Municipality of Tamparan sa idinaos na Serbisyong Caravan LDS 2026, na dinaluhan ng mga benepisyaryo mula sa mga bayan ng Tamparan, Masiu, at Poona Bayabao.

Pinangunahan ng ating butihing Mayor Mohammad Juhar Dimaporo Disomimba ang pagdalo sa nasabing programa bilang pagpapakita ng kanyang buong suporta sa mga inisyatibang naglalayong mailapit ang mahahalagang serbisyong pampamahalaan sa mamamayan.

Sa pamamagitan ng Serbisyong Caravan, naihatid ang iba't ibang programang pangkabuhayan at panlipunan, kabilang ang pamamahagi ng assistive devices para sa mga Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) at senior citizens, food assistance para sa mga solo parents, at suporta sa nutrisyon para sa mga ina ng mga batang nakararanas ng malnutrisyon. Isinagawa rin ang nutrition advocacy upang higit pang mapalakas ang kamalayan sa wastong nutrisyon at pangangalaga sa kalusugan ng bawat pamilya.

Taos-pusong pasasalamat ang ipinaaabot ng LGU Tamparan sa ating mahal na Governor Mamintal "Bombit" A. Adiong, Jr. sa kanyang patuloy na pamumuno at malasakit sa mamamayan ng Lanao del Sur. Lubos din ang aming pasasalamat sa Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) sa pangunguna ni Ms. Monaima Adiong at sa buong PSWDO Team sa patuloy na paghahatid ng mga programang nagbibigay ng pag-asa at suporta sa mga higit na nangangailangan. Gayundin, kinikilala at pinasasalamatan namin ang Municipal Social Services and Development Office (MSSD) ng Tamparan, sa pangunguna ni Ms. Carimah B. Campong, RSW, kasama ang buong MSSD Team, sa kanilang dedikasyon, mahusay na koordinasyon, at walang sawang paglilingkod na naging daan sa matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng Serbisyong Caravan sa ating bayan.
