Thanks, Mom, for being my best friend and for always having faith in me. Thanks, Mom, for treating me as an adult, allowing me to make my own mistakes and learn my own lessons.
Thank you for encouraging me to try new things, to travel and to learn from and about others. Thank you for insisting that I always be true to myself and the values you and Dad taught us. Thank you for reminding me to always give back to the community.
Thanks, Mom, for showing me a marriage of mutually supportive equals who knew how to be supportive without being subservient, who respected each other and truly enjoyed being together. Thank you for helping me grow up believing that I could pursue any path I chose.
