The Joint Committees on Public Utilities and Renewable Energy and on Barangay Affairs held a committee hearing regarding the Privilege Speech of Hon. Rhaniette S. Tan concerning the urgent concerns of residents relocated to Barangay Rosario, this city. The discussion focused on the lack of electricity supply at the relocation site.

The hearing also discussed the funding for the electrification of the relocation site and possible measures to address the residentsโ€™ need for a reliable power supply.

The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Joseph Porgatorio, who once served as the LGUโ€™s City Local Government Operations Officer. This afternoon, the Joint Committees on Environmental Protection & Ecology, Disaster Risk Reduction & Management, and Barangay Affairs held a committee hearing regarding the Privilege Speech raised by Hon. Right after the 32nd Regular Session, the Joint Committees on Good Government, Public Ethics and Accountability, and Health, Nutrition and Sanitation convened to discuss the endorsement from the Office of the City Mayor regarding the proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Dr. Janelle Delos Reyes-Rendon, Licensed Pathologist, for the supervision, interpretation, and quality assurance of laboratory services under the City Health Office.

The 7th Sangguniang Panlungsod successfully held its 32nd Regular Session, presided over by Hon. Eleanor "Neneng" Momo, together with 12 Sangguniang Panlungsod Members Present.

During the session, the body deliberated on matters concerning the welfare, development, and continued progress of the city, resulting in 2 Privilege Speeches delivered, 4 Resolutions approved, and 2 Ordinances enacted.

The Committee on Ways & Means conducted a committee hearing to discuss proposed amendments to the 2022 Revised Local Revenue Code of Tandag City, as well as the proposed ordinance regulating marathons, fun runs, foot races, and similar events within the city.

The hearing was chaired by Hon. Hyna Jean R. Boniao, with Hon. Antonio V. Salazar as Vice Chair and Hon. Maria Lourdes Kharin C. Momo as Member, with valuable insights from Atty. Janissa P. To support the continued improvement of educational facilities in the city, the Joint Committees on Education and on Good Government, Public Ethics & Accountability conducted a committee hearing on the proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Education (DepEd) for the construction of classrooms and laboratory rooms for the Special Science Elementary School (SSES).

The hearing was chaired by Hon. Imelda C. Falcon and Hon. Maria Lourdes Kharin C. Momo, together with Hon. Antonio V. Salazar, Member (ED); Engr. Carl Steven L.
