The DARMO – Tandag and Cortes conducted an ocular inspection in connection with the processing of a DAR Clearance involving Lot No. 1257, Cad. 597, located at Barangay Poblacion, Municipality of Cortes, Surigao del Sur.

The inspection was conducted to verify the actual status and condition of the subject landholding and to support the proper evaluation and processing of the DAR Clearance application in accordance with existing agrarian reform policies and procedures. The ocular inspection was conducted by SARPT Merbeth Jean Quilisadio.

DARMO Tandag & Cortes successfully conducted a Leadership and Values Formation Seminar aimed at strengthening the leadership capabilities, values, teamwork, and organizational commitment of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs).

The activity was participated in by 50 ARBO members from:
• Farmers Marketing Cooperative of Mabahin
• Samahang Mag-uuma Mabahin Irrigators Association, Inc.

Another batch of 30 ARBO members from the St. Isidore Farmers Irrigators Association, Inc. actively participated in the seminar.

The seminar provided an avenue for the participants to deepen their understanding of effective leadership, positive values, cooperation, accountability, and shared responsibility—essential qualities in building strong, united, and sustainable farmers’ organizations.

The sessions were facilitated by OIC-MARPO of Tandag & Cortes, Nerie Jun L. Casil, who also served as the resource person, with the assistance of ARPT Anna Lou Y. Aquino.

🤝 Through activities, discussions, and meaningful exchanges, the participants were encouraged to become not only better leaders but also more committed and responsible members of their respective organizations.

Courtesy Call with the City Mayor of Tandag

OIC-MARPO Nerie Jun L. Casil of DARMO – Tandag and Cortes paid a courtesy call to Tandag City Mayor Roxanne C. Pimentel as part of strengthening coordination and partnership between the Department of Agrarian Reform and the City Government of Tandag.

The courtesy call provided an opportunity to discuss matters concerning agrarian reform programs and services and to further enhance coordination in addressing concerns affecting farmers and agrarian reform beneficiaries in the city.

Ocular Inspection for DAR Clearance | Brgy. Rosario, Tandag City

DARMO – Tandag and Cortes conducted an ocular inspection in connection with the processing of a DAR Clearance involving a landholding located in Brgy. Rosario, Tandag City.

The activity aimed to verify the actual condition, status, and present land use of the property as part of the field validation and evaluation of the DAR Clearance application, in accordance with existing agrarian laws, rules, and regulations.

On-Site Inspection and Investigation for Land Transfer Clearance | Brgy. Pandanon

DARMO – Tandag and Cortes assisted in the conduct of On-Site Inspection and Investigation (OSII) in connection with an application for DAR Land Transfer Clearance involving a landholding located in Brgy. Pandanon.

The activity was undertaken to verify the actual condition, status, and land use of the property and to support the evaluation and processing of the application in accordance with existing agrarian laws, rules, and regulations.

Validation of Tigao Farmers Development Council for Farm Business School

The DARPO Surigao del Sur Team conducted a validation of the Tigao Farmers Development Council in relation to the implementation of the Farm Business School (FBS) under the Department of Agrarian Reform.

The activity aimed to assess the organization’s readiness, capacity, and compliance with the requirements for the implementation of the FBS, which seeks to strengthen farmers’ knowledge and skills in farm enterprise management and development.

COA Audit on the Distribution of Organic Implements

DARMO Tandag & Cortes together with DARPO Surigao del Sur facilitated the COA Auditor Team in the conduct of an audit on the distribution of organic farming implements to Tabon-Tabon Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Saint Isidor Farmers Irrigators Association and Tigao Farmers' Development Cooperative.

The activity focused on the verification and validation of the distributed organic implements, including the review of relevant documents and records to ensure proper accountability, utilization, and compliance with applicable government policies and procedures.
