The City Government of Tandag, through the leadership of the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) and in partnership with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), successfully conducted a three-day training on the Roll-Out of the 2024 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9904 from June 3 to 5, 2025.
Held at Uptown Corporate Hotel, the training brought together Board of Directors (BODs), Board of Trustees (BOTs), and members of various Homeowners Associations (HOAs) across Tandag City. The sessions focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of the revised provisions under the Magna Carta for Homeowners and Homeowners Associations—covering topics such as governance, taxation, and community responsibilities.
This initiative reflects Mayor Roxanne C. Pimentel’s continuing commitment to inclusive and participatory governance, with the CPDO leading the planning and implementation of the activity in support of stronger, more capable community-based institutions.
Through this joint effort, LGU Tandag reaffirms its dedication to building resilient, informed, and well-organized homeowner communities.
