✓ Fully accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with Work Experience Sheet and recent passport-sized or unfiltered digital picture (CS Form No. 212, Revised 2025); digitally signed or electronically signed;
✓ Hard copy or electronic copy of Performance rating in the last rating period (if applicable);
✓ Hard copy or electronic copy of proof of eligibility/rating/license; and
✓ Hard copy or electronic copy of Transcript of Records.

The deadline for submission is on September 21, 2026.

Interested and qualified applicants are hereby advised to submit their complete application documents in hard copy, either personally or through a courier service, to the DOST Caraga Office, CSU Campus, Ampayon, Butuan City.

Important Note: Only applications submitted in hard copy shall be accepted and considered.

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Caraga and Father Saturnino Urios University (FSUU) have formalized a partnership to strengthen the DOST-FSUU Food Innovation Center (FIC) as a hub for food product development, innovation, and technical support for local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), researchers, food scientists, and students.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Caraga is taking a stronger step toward becoming a region where innovation can thrive, as DOST Caraga and five academic institutions forged the Caraga Regional Innovation and Startup Ecosystem (RISE) Consortium on August 27, 2026, creating a collaborative network to help turn ideas and technologies into solutions, enterprises, and opportunities for communities.

Held as part of the 2026 Caraga Regional Science, Technology and Innovation Week (RSTW), the MOA signing also marked the kickstart of the first Caraga Startup Fest, gathering startups, innovators, academe, government, and other stakeholders to connect, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for growth.

The consortium brings together Agusan del Sur State College, Caraga State University, Father Saturnino Urios University, North Eastern Mindanao State University, and Surigao del Norte State University, creating a stronger network to support innovators, researchers, students, and aspiring entrepreneurs.

DOST Caraga Regional Director Noel M. Ajoc expressed optimism for stronger collaboration among the participating institutions, emphasizing the importance of working together to nurture ideas and innovations into solutions, enterprises, and opportunities for communities in Caraga.

The university presidents likewise expressed appreciation to DOST Caraga for initiating the network, recognizing its potential to strengthen collaboration and create a more supportive environment for startups and innovators.

In her message of support, DOST Assistant Secretary Maria Teresa B. De Guzman emphasized the importance of collaboration in strengthening the region’s startup ecosystem, noting Caraga’s growing pool of startups and innovators. She also commended DOST Caraga for organizing the region’s first Startup Festival, which she said could inspire more people to pursue innovative ideas and build startups.

By working together, the RISE Consortium aims to build a more connected startup ecosystem that empowers Caraganons to innovate, create enterprises and jobs, and develop solutions toward a more resilient and future-ready region.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | DOST Caraga Regional Director Engr. Noel M. Ajoc delivered his message during the opening ceremony of the 2026 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week today, August 27, at Robinsons Butuan.

In his opening message, he highlighted the challenges faced by Caraganons—from vulnerability to natural hazards and changing weather conditions affecting farmers and fisherfolk, to the geographic dispersion of communities and the need for industries and enterprises to become more productive and competitive.

He also stressed that science, technology, and innovation are not simply about discoveries, inventions, or sophisticated systems. They are tools for understanding challenges, finding solutions, and creating better opportunities for our people.

As Caraga celebrates RSTW 2026, this message reminds us that the true value of STI lies in its ability to create meaningful, inclusive, and lasting impact in the lives of every Caraganon.

Anchored on the theme, “Science, Technology and Digital Innovation: Driving Food Security, Sustainable Energy and National Resilience,” this year’s celebration highlights how STI can help build a more food-secure, energy-sustainable, and resilient nation.

The three-day celebration, happening on August 27–29, 2026, features activities that showcase technologies, innovations, and initiatives that contribute to a more sustainable and future-ready Caraga.
