The activity forms part of the continuing efforts to strengthen culturally appropriate and sustainable economic initiatives for Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs). The first day of the activity centered on technical capability-building sessions on abaca production and free-range chicken raising. These sessions were conducted in partnership with the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of Cagwait headed by Mr. Neptalie D. Palero, together with agricultural staff/coordinators Ms. Hazel M. Tato and Mr. Dan Fred B. Dapiasan, who served as resource persons.
Participants were equipped with practical knowledge and appropriate agricultural techniques aimed at enhancing productivity and sustainability.

On the second day, the participants took part in by policy formulation and planning workshops for the establishment and sustainable management of the IADDA-CREP Farm. Key discussions focused on the creation of an Indigenous Political Organization (IPO) dedicated solely to the IADDA-CREP Project, the integration of the benefit-sharing scheme stated in the Ancestral Domain Sustainable Development and Protection Plan (ADSDPP) into the project framework, and the strengthening of the Indigenous Political Structure (IPS) of the Manobo ICCs/IPs of Cagwait to promote effective governance and active community participation.

Through the collaborative efforts of NCIP, partner agencies, and the Indigenous communities, the IADDA-CREP initiative continues to pave the way toward improved socio-economic conditions, sustainable livelihood opportunities, and strengthened self-governance among the Manobo ICCs/IPs of Cagwait.

The project reflects a shared commitment to empowering Indigenous communities while preserving their cultural identity and promoting inclusive development.
