Some experiences touch the mind, while others touch the heart. The outreach activity "Extending Peace Beyond Walls" was one of those moments that will remain with us long after the day ended.
On behalf of the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) and the personnel of Tangub City Jail, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Third Year Bachelor of Arts in Political Science students of Tangub City Global College โ Institute of Arts and Sciences for conducting the outreach activity entitled "Extending Peace Beyond Walls" with the theme "Promoting Hope, Dignity, and Second Chances Through Peace Education."
Your visit was more than just an outreach activityโit was a reminder that compassion, understanding, and human connection can reach even beyond prison walls. Through your words of encouragement, peace education discussions, and thoughtful acts of kindness, you brought smiles, inspiration, and renewed hope to the PDL.
As the Apostle Paul wrote while he himself was imprisoned:
"Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." โ Philippians 1:6
This verse reminds us that no person's story is finished and that hope can flourish even in the most difficult circumstances.
To the students, faculty advisers, and everyone who made this activity possible, thank you for sharing your time, compassion, and commitment to service. Your efforts have left a meaningful impact on the lives of our PDL and have strengthened their belief in hope, dignity, and second chances.
Because beyond the walls, there is still hope. Beyond the past, there is still a future. โค๏ธ
