National Peace Consciousness Month with the theme: 'KAPAYAPAAN PAGTIBAYIN, KAUNLARAN PAIGTINGIN"

At about 7:33 AM on September 7, 2026, personnel of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL NELSON P AMSIWEN JR., Force Commander, conducted the hanging of a tarpaulin in celebration of the National Peace Consciousness Month, with the theme “KAPAYAPAAN PAGTIBAYIN, KAUNLARAN PAIGTINGIN.” The activity aimed to promote peace, unity, and understanding among citizens while fostering nonviolence, tolerance, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence. It also sought to strengthen awareness and contribute to building a lasting culture of peace in the community.

At about 4:12 PM on September 06, 2026, personnel of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL NELSON P AMSIWEN JR., conducted the distribution and installation of SAFE NIR Dial 911 stickers on a private motorcycle in Brgy. Sta Cruz Viejo Tanjay City, Negros Oriental as part of the unit's ongoing public safety awareness campaign. The activity was undertaken to promote greater public awareness of the SAFE NIR Dial 911 emergency hotline by making the contact information more visible and readily accessible to motorists, commuters, and the general public. Furthermore, the initiative seeks to strengthen the partnership between the Philippine National Police and the community by encouraging active citizen participation in crime prevention and public safety efforts. The increased visibility of the emergency hotline is expected to foster a culture of vigilance, promote timely information sharing, and facilitate faster coordination between the public and responding authorities, thereby enhancing operational efficiency during emergencies.

BARANGAY VISITATION

At about 1:57 PM on September 6, 2026, personnel of the 1st Maneuver Platoon, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, led by PCMS Rey Dur Duran, Senior Platoon PNCO, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL NELSON P AMSIWEN JR, Force Commander, conducted a Barangay visitation at Barangay Lamdas, Mabinay, Negros Oriental. The activity focused on the identification and monitoring of community issues and concerns relative to anti-insurgency in support of the programs of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC), anti-illegal drugs campaign, crime prevention, and other peace and order and public safety concerns within the barangay.The activity aimed to enhance situational awareness, strengthen police–community partnership, and sustain peace and order in the area.

At about 2:00 PM on September 6, 2026, personnel of the 1st Maneuver Platoon, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, led by PSMS Rey Dur Duran Platoon Senior PNCO, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL NELSON P AMSIWEN JR, Force Commander, 2nd PMFC, conducted the distribution of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials at Barangay Canggohob, Mabinay, Negros Oriental. The activity was conducted in line with the programs of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) and focused on anti-insurgency efforts, anti-illegal drugs advocacy, crime prevention tips, public awareness on the Anti-Rape Law (RA 8353), the MAKABATA Helpline 1383, and the dissemination of SAFE NIR DIAL 911, misinformation awareness, and other public safety and anti-criminality concerns. This initiative aimed to enhance community awareness, strengthen cooperation between the police and the community, and promote peace, order, and public safety.
