โ€ŽThe Municipal Public Employment Service Office (MPESO) Tapaz successfully facilitated the DOLE TUPAD Pay-Out Program on October 8, 2026, held at the 3rd Floor Reception Hall, Tapaz Government Center, providing much-needed support and assistance to qualified beneficiaries through the TUPAD program.

โ€ŽThe program was further graced by Hon. Rex Dante L. Palomar, Municipal Mayor, who gave a inspiring message, together with Mr. Myron Azarcon, DOLE TUPAD Focal, whose presence and messages underscored the importance of government programs in providing livelihood assistance and strengthening the welfare of local communities.

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) conducted the Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport (UPLIFT) Assistance Payout on October 8, 2026, at the Tapaz Civic Center.

The UPLIFT Assistance Payout with a total of 2.89M Php aimed to aid the 1445 beneficiaries from 58 barangays of Tapaz, helping ease the financial burden brought about by the ongoing energy crisis.

Mayor Rex Dante L. Palomar expressed his support for the beneficiaries through a message of appreciation and encouragement.

The payout showcases the continued efforts of the MSWDO and the Local Government Unit of Tapaz to provide timely assistance and support to vulnerable sectors of the community.

59th Regular Session of the Sangguniang Bayan of Tapaz

The Sangguniang Baya of Tapaz convened its 59th Regular Session on October 5, 2026, presided over by Vice Mayor, Hon. Roberto O. Palomar.

The session focused on deliberating important matters, proposed measures and concerns aimed at promoting good governance, responsive public service and the continued development and welfare of the people of Tapaz.

Through the collective efforts of the Sangguniang Bayan, the Municipality od Tapaz continues to uphold its commitment to rsponsible legislation and menaningful service to the community.

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), in collaboration with Municipal Health Office (MHO), conducted the Psoriasis/Psoriatic Diseases and Other Related Skin Conditions Awareness Campaign today, October 7, 2026, at the Tapaz Civic Center.

The participants were warmly welcomed by Engr. Josie G. Cambel, RSW, MSSW, who delivered the welcome remarks.

Pamela Ann G. Abia, RN, Tapaz MHO Nurse II, provided an informative discussion on psoriasis/psoriatic disease, and other related skin conditions, covering essential information to help participants better understand the conditions and their impact.

Acting on behalf of Sangguniang Bayan Chairperson on PWD and Senior Citizens Hon. Milagros Roa Palomar, Babes Fundal, SBO Staff, delivered a message of support to the participants and advocates.

The activity also featured a testimony from Raymond G. Jimenez, Psoriasis/Psoriatic Advocate, who shared his personal experience living with the disease and his journey as an advocate for greater awareness and understanding.

The campaign highlighted the importance of knowledge, empathy, and support in promoting skin health and addressing the stigma associated with psoriasis and related skin conditions.

The event kicked off with a colorful parade joined by the teachers and pupils of Tapaz Central Elementary School, setting an energetic and festive atmosphere for the dayโ€™s activities.

The Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) of Tapaz conducted an Electronic Business Permit and Licensing System (eBPLS) benchmarking activity with Business Permit and Licensing Officers and personnel from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in the Province of Capiz on October 6, 2026, at the Conference Hall.

The activity provided the guests and participants with an opportunity to observe the BPLO Tapazโ€™s end-to-end process in the issuance of business permits and licenses, as well as its workplace procedures and functions.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) with LGU Tapaz held the 4Ps Ani Graduation 2026 and Family Day on October 6, 2026, at the Tapaz Civic Center, celebrating the achievements, perseverance, and milestones of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries.

The celebration aimed to recognize the dedication and commitment of beneficiaries throughout their years in the program, while providing an opportunity to reflect on their experiences, challenges, and accomplishments along the way.

An inspirational message was delivered by Belen P. Gebusion, ARDA, DSWD Field Office VI, who encouraged the graduates to carry forward the values and lessons they gained throughout their journey.

Representing Mayor Rex Dante L. Palomar, Ted Garbo, Executive Assistant IV, delivered a message of appreciation and support for the celebration. Meanwhile, a message of support from Vice Mayor Roberto O. Palomar was conveyed by Nona Vista, SB Secretary.

The occasion was also graced by Hon. Milagros Roa Palomar, Sangguniang Bayan Member, along with DSWD personnel, beneficiaries, families, and other participants who joined in celebrating this meaningful milestone.
