The Schools Division Office (SDO) of Tarlac Province continues to champion lifelong learning and professional excellence through a series of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) capacity-building programs aimed at empowering education leaders with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to design and implement quality Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)-accredited professional development programs.

The Expanding eXpertise through Continuous Education and Lifelong Learning (EXCEL) Program commenced on March 19, 2026, with an online training attended by 29 participants. Designed as a capacity-building program for education leaders, EXCEL aims to develop proponents, planners, and implementers of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs. The orientation provided participants with a strong foundation in CPD program design, documentation, compliance, and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) accreditation process, preparing them for the succeeding capacity-building activities under the program.

On July 28, 2026, 100 school heads engaged in the online Capacity-Building for Education Leaders on PRC Accreditation of CPD Programs, an initiative spearheaded by Dr. Lovella G. Paragas, Education Program Supervisor, SGOD and the Division CPD Authorized Officer, in collaboration with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) led by Regional Director Sir Paul H. Aban.

The learning series culminated on July 29, 2026, with an intensive face-to-face training held at FR White Hall, SDO Tarlac Province, engaging 30 prospective CPD program proponents. The activity strengthened their capacity to conceptualize, develop, and implement relevant and high-quality CPD programs aligned with PRC accreditation standards.

The series of capacity-building programs was further enriched by the expertise of distinguished resource speakers from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Schools Division Office of Tarlac. Dr. Maria Ellen Ruditha Quinicio, Dr. Elaine Espela, Ms. Paula Jane, and Ms. Ivy Dionisio from the PRC provided valuable guidance on CPD policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory processes. Complementing these discussions, Dr. Shery Ann M. Estrada, Dr. Jo Ann B. Dizon, Dr. Alexander R. Amigo, and Dr. Lovella G. Paragas from SDO Tarlac shared their expertise in designing relevant, sustainable, and impactful CPD programs.

Together, their collective knowledge strengthened education leaders' capacity to develop professional learning programs aligned with quality standards and accreditation requirements.
Through these initiatives, SDO Tarlac Province continues to advance a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, empowering education leaders to create impactful professional development opportunities that will benefit educators and ultimately enhance the quality of education.

My dear SDO Tarlac Province Family,

In moments when criticism, discouragement, or uncertainty weighs upon us, may we remember the greater purpose that unites us: to help shape a better future through education.

Whether in the classroom, the school office, or in our division and regional offices, each of you plays an essential role in fulfilling our mission. Our teachers nurture minds and inspire learners, while our non-teaching personnel provide the vital support that keeps our schools and offices responsive, efficient, and ready to serve. Different as our responsibilities may be, every contribution matters.

Let not discouraging words diminish the dignity of our work or the importance of our calling. Challenges may test us, but they must never define us. Let us instead strengthen our resolve to serve with integrity, compassion, professionalism, and excellence.

Let us remain Matatag at Marangalโ€”steadfast in the face of challenges and dignified in the way we carry out our responsibilities. May we uphold the honor of public service by choosing to respond to difficulties with courage, humility, and a renewed commitment to do what is right.

The true measure of our service is found in the lives we touchโ€”the learner who discovers confidence, the child who finds hope, and the family that experiences a public education system that genuinely cares. Together, if we are not merely performing our duties; we are building lives, strengthening communities, and shaping the future of our nation.

To every teaching and non-teaching personnel across Central Luzon, stand proud, remain steadfast, and stay Matatag at Marangal. Let us continue moving forward together, united in purpose and unwavering in our commitment to every learner.

Keep serving. Keep inspiring. Keep making a difference.

Maraming salamat sa inyong sipag, malasakit, at walang sawang paglilingkod para sa ating mga mag-aaral at sa sambayanang Pilipino.
