2TP CY2026 || Joint Opening Ceremony of FSC Cl 02-2026 and DMC CL 65-2026
On 25 May 2026, the Non-Commissioned Officer School successfully conducted the Joint Opening Ceremony of the First Sergeant Course Class 02-2026 and Drill Master Course Class 65-2026 at AVR-1, Camacho Hall, TRACOM, PA.
The ceremony was graced by MSg Dionisio C Lanas (Inf) PA, the Acting Commandant of the Non-Commissioned Officer School, who served as the Keynote Speaker. In his message, he emphasized to the students of FSC, the values of Fortitude, Service, and Commitment. Underscoring the importance of enduring the rigors of training with fortitude; respecting instructors and staff as part of their service; and demonstrating commitment through upholding standards and staying dedicated all throughout the training period. On the one hand, he highlighted to the students of DMC, the values of Discipline, Mastery, and Courage. Stressing the significance of embodying discipline by adhering to rules and regulations and respecting authority; demonstrating mastery through the acquisition of the necessary skills, knowledge, and values; and showing courage by taking accountability of one’s actions.
As the new training period begins, the students of both the First Sergeant Course and the Drill Master Course will carry with them the values imparted by the Acting Commandant. These set of values will serve as their guiding light—shaping their character and strengthening their discipline as they face the challenges and demands of training.
