Catigaacan Elementary School (CES) joyfully celebrated Foundation Day 2026, on March 6, a special event that highlighted the pride, unity, and achievements of our school community.

The celebration was headed by Maโ€™am Marisa M. Dela Cruz and made possible through the generous help and cooperation of the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA), led by Mrs. Liezel D. Biag.

The event was filled with excitement as students participated in the much-awaited Mr. and Miss Foundation Day pageant who confidently represented their respective grade level.

The highlight of the celebration was the crowning of the winners. Jude Rafael B. Espinosa was proclaimed Mr. Foundation Day 2026, while Aurora Jenny Len L. Facun was crowned Miss Foundation Day 2026.

The celebration was truly memorable and successful. It brought happiness not only to the participants but also to the entire school community.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who extended their support and generosity to make this event possible, especially to the ever-supportive parents and Honorable Mayor Romeo Ong Capitulo, V-Mayor Riza Eugenio Joaquin, Committee on Education- Municipal Councilor Arch Bert Verzon, Municipal Councilor Florence Joy Capiendo-Concepcion, Brgy. Captain Amado Lasco and Brgy. Councilor Val Anthony Muega who contributed greatly to the betterment of CES.

This Foundation Day reminded us of the strong spirit of cooperation and unity that makes our school a wonderful place for learning and growth.

Catigaacan Elementary School has officially started its Early Registration for the School Year 2026โ€“2027 on January 31, 2026 and February 7, 2026, in accordance with the Department of Educationโ€™s nationwide early registration initiative for public schools.

Madam Marisa Dela Cruz led the event which marks the beginning of the official early registration period for incoming Kindergarten, Grade 1, returning students, and transfer learners. This aims to ensure accurate data collection and effective planning for the upcoming academic year.

As part of our schoolโ€™s health program, blood pressure apparatus and essential medicines were distributed to teachers, while additional medicines were provided to parents. The initiative aimed to support the health and wellness needs of both educators and members of the school community.

The activity was conducted with the support of the PGT-TARLAC, SDO-TARLAC Province, and District Nurse, Arthurgomezsotto. Their continued commitment and dedication contributed significantly to the effective delivery of health services in the school.

Catigaacan Elementary School Honors Educators on World Teachersโ€™ Day

In celebration of World Teachersโ€™ Day, Catigaacan Elementary School is set to honor its dedicated teachers with a special program on Friday, October 3, at the schoolโ€™s covered court.

The event will be led by our School Principal Dr. Marisa M. Dela Cruz who will join the school community in recognizing the vital role teachers play in shaping young minds.

As the countdown to World Teachersโ€™ Day continues, Catigaacan Elementary is shining a spotlight on the heart and soul of early education - its passionate and hardworking teachers. From singing cheerful nursery rhymes to teaching the ABCs, and from wiping away tiny tears to celebrating every small success, these educators do it all with unwavering patience, care, and love.
The celebration aims to honor their tireless contributions, not just as educators, but as mentors and role models who leave a lasting impact on their studentsโ€™ lives.

World Teachersโ€™ Day is observed globally to acknowledge the essential role teachers play in providing quality education and building the future generation. Catigaacan Elementary Schoolโ€™s celebration is part of this global recognition and appreciation.
