Padapada NHS and Educators Garner Prestigious Edukampyon Awards

Padapada National High School emerged as one of the top-performing schools recognized during Edukampyon: Gawad Parangal held on March 12, 2026, at the Tarlac City Plazuela Hall, an event aimed at honoring the significant contributions of education partners across the province.

Educators, school leaders, and stakeholders gathered for the event to celebrate their efforts in promoting quality education and fostering strong community partnerships.

Among the highlights of the event was the recognition of Padapada National High School as the 2025 Division Brigada Eskwela Best Implementing School – 3rd Place in the Mega Secondary School Category. The award was given in acknowledgment of the school’s outstanding implementation and exemplary practices in support of the Brigada Eskwela theme, “Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa.”

The school’s success was attributed to the strong partnership among teachers, parents, volunteers, and community stakeholders who worked together to create a safe and learner-friendly environment.

In addition, Dr. Mely A. Bulusan, school head, and Ma’am Annabel M. Panzo, Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, were recognized for their exemplary leadership and dedication in guiding the school’s Brigada Eskwela efforts.

Padapada National High School also received the Khanbayanihan Team of the Year Award. Individual achievements further marked the school’s strong performance, as Ma’am Eliza Ann N. Manuel was named Educator of the Year, while Ma’am Joy G. Escoto was recognized as a nominee for the Educator of the Year Award.

To our SGC Officers, SPTA Officers, and esteemed stakeholders—our LGU partners, private organizations, parents, alumni, and the entire Padapada community—your endless support has been invaluable.

Padapada National High School extends its deepest appreciation to all our stakeholders, partners, and supporters for their endless commitment and support.

Padapada National High School Celebrates Major Wins in Khan Academy PH Awards

Pride and celebration filled the community of Padapada National High School as the school received major recognitions during the End of School Year 2026 – A Celebration of Gratitude and Recognition organized by Khan Academy Philippines on March 8, 2026 at the Centennial Auditorium of José Rizal University.

The school proudly brought home the Team of the Year – Public Schools Category in Luzon award, recognizing its strong collaboration and commitment to improving the quality of education through the effective use of Khan Academy.

One of the highlights of the event was the recognition of Ma’am Eliza Ann N. Manuel, Grade 9 Mathematics teacher, who was named Educator of the Year in Luzon. Known for her dedication to her students and innovative teaching strategies, Manuel has been instrumental in integrating Khan Academy into the school’s Mathematics instruction.

Manuel, together with fellow Mathematics teacher Ma’am Joy G. Escoto, was also nominated for the Top Khan Academy Implementing Teachers in the Philippines award.

Completing the school’s core implementing team is Grade 9 Science teacher Ma’am Suzeth C. Miranda, who also integrates Khan Academy resources into her Science lessons.

Behind the successful implementation of the program is the strong support of the school administration. The initiative is guided by the leadership of School Head Dr. Mely A. Bulusan and strengthened by the active support of the department focal persons—Head Teacher II in Mathematics Ma’am Ma. Corazon N. Tolentino and Head Teacher III in Science Ma’am Anabel M. Panzo—who closely support the teachers in implementing the program.

The effort is further reinforced by ICT Coordinator Sir JC Love Escoto, who assists teachers in maximizing the use of technology in the classroom.

School leaders also expressed their full support by attending the awarding ceremony in person. Mathematics Head Teacher, Ma’am Ma. Corazon N. Tolentino and School Head Dr. Mely A. Bulusan proudly represented the school during the recognition event.

The school also extends its appreciation to the students who actively participated in the program, particularly the learners from Grade 9-Jupiter (STE) and Grade 10-Saturn (STE).

The recognition, celebrated under the hashtags and , shows not only the teachers’ excellence in teaching but also the spirit of bayanihan among educators who work together to make learning easier, more meaningful, and more engaging for Filipino students.
