It is tasked to establish and maintain regional and provincial information centers to identify community needs for use in planning and providing communication programs and services; plan and implement information programs of national scope; and provide assistance to government agencies through

capability-building and consultancy services. It primarily serves the Presidency, the Executive Branch and Local Government Units with the ultimate goal of empowering the Filipino people.

The Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program is helping accelerate school preparation efforts across Central Luzon, with 1,192 beneficiaries deployed to assist in the implementation of Brigada Eskwela ahead of the opening of classes.
