The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Tarlac Provincial Office successfully conducted the distribution of land titles and Certificates of Condonation and Release of Mortgage (COCROMs) to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in Victoria, Tarlac, in line with the implementation of the New Agrarian Emancipation Act (Republic Act No. 11953).
A total of 39 etitles and 99 COCROMs benefiting ARBs were awarded during the activity. The condonation program also covered unpaid amortizations, interests, penalties, and surcharges financial relief to qualified beneficiaries.
Engr. Robert R. Dela Cruz, MARPO of Cluster 1A, welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among farmer-beneficiaries in sustaining the gains of agrarian reform programs in their communities.
Hon. Rex C. Villa Agustin, Municipal Mayor of Victoria, together with Hon. Trizia Silao, Councilor and the OIC-Vice Mayor of Victoria expressed their continued support for government programs benefiting farmers and acknowledged the efforts of DAR in providing land ownership security and financial assistance to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries.
Maria Teresa A. Mina, OIC-PARPO I of DAR Tarlac, reaffirmed the agencyโs commitment to continue implementing programs that secure land tenure, improve the welfare of ARBs, and promote inclusive rural development.
The distribution of land titles and COCROMs symbolizes the governmentโs continuing efforts to empower farmers by providing them with secured ownership and freedom from financial burdens, enabling them to focus on improving their livelihood and agricultural productivity.
