The Tarlac State University community warmly congratulates Ms. Venazir Martinez, a TSU Laboratory School alumna and Filipina muralist, for winning Gold and Bronze awards at the National Mural Awards in the United States.

A graduate of the TSU Laboratory School Batch 2016, Ms. Martinez earned the national Bronze award for her mural piece “Between Memory and Bloom” and received a regional Gold award representing Foster City.

Known for her work as a muralist and visual anthropreneur, Ms. Martinez creates art that explores the deep connections between culture, tradition, and changing communities, and interweaving diverse stories by introducing "Hilabana", meaning woven path, which showcases symbolic elements such as the red thread to be reflected in her works.

Your TSU family celebrates this remarkable achievement and proudly joins you in this milestone.
