JUNE 1, 2026 โ DOLE Tarlac Field Office rolled out its Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) program across 110 public schools in Capas, La Paz, Gerona, Pura, Victoria, Bamban, Paniqui, Ramos, Concepcion, and Tarlac City. Through this initiative, a total of 1,900 beneficiariesโin which 960 are sugar workersโwere deployed directly to public schools for 10 days to assist with Brigada Eskwela 2026, earning a daily wage of โฑ600.
This partnership between the DOLE and the Department of Education (DepEd), and with the support of the Local Government and 3rd Congressional District, aims to ensure that school facilities are fully prepared to welcome students for the upcoming school year.
