The Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office No. III (DOLE 3) welcomed its new Regional Director, Atty. Sarah Buena S. Mirasol, during the ceremonial turnover held earlier today, September 3.

Outgoing Regional Director Geraldine M. Panlilio formally handed over the key of responsibilities to RD Atty. Mirasol, symbolizing the official transfer of leadership and duties as the Department continues to strengthen labor and employment services and advance workers’ welfare, consistent with the priorities of Labor Secretary Francis N. Tolentino.

Also present during the activity were Assistant Regional Director Alejandro Inza Cruz, heads of divisions and field offices in Region 3, and officers from DOLE-NCR, along with other DOLE 3 personnel.

🎥𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐍 | Nagsagawa ang DOLE Tarlac Field Office ng Orientation at Contract Signing para sa 20 na TUPAD beneficiaries sa Bayan ng Santa Ignacia katuwang ang kanilang lokal na pamahalaan ngayong ika-2 ng Setyembre 2026. Ang mga benepisyaryo ay magtatrabaho sa loob ng 31 na araw sa Nambalan Elementary School at Nambalan High School upang isaayos at kumpunihin ang mga pasilidad ng mga paaralan.

Ang proyektong ito ang kauna-unahang implementasyon ng long-term employment sa TUPAD dito sa Probinsya ng Tarlac.

Sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni DOLE Secretary Francis Tolentino, patuloy na magsasagawa ang Kagawaran ng mga makabuluhang proyekto sa ilalim ng programang TUPAD upang patuloy na makatulong sa mga manggagawa at maging sa komunidad.

🎥𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐍 | Nagpahayag si Ernesto Arquiza—isa sa mga opisyales ng TABUJODA Transport Service Cooperative—ng kanilang lubos na pasasalamat sa DOLE at kay Secretary Francis Tolentino para sa natanggap nilang fuel pump na makakatulong sa kanilang kooperatiba na magkaroon ng karagdagan na mapagkakakitaan.

Isa ang kanilang kooperatiba sa limang grupo na nabigyan ng tulong sa ilalim ng DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program katuwang ang Provincial Government of Tarlac.

AUGUST 19, 2026—DOLE Tarlac Field Office, in partnership with the Occupational Safety and Health Center – Regional Extension Unit III (OSHC-REU III), conducted a Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training for Safety Officer I for the personnel of the Army Support Command at Camp Servillano Aquino, San Miguel, Tarlac City.

For the Armed Forces of the Philippines, safety is more than a workplace requirement—it is an essential part of mission readiness. Ensuring the safety and well-being of personnel helps maintain a healthy, capable, and prepared workforce that can effectively support the AFP’s vital operations.

Through this training, the DOLE, headed by Secretary Francis Tolentino, aimed at providing participants with practical knowledge and skills in identifying workplace hazards, preventing accidents, and promoting a culture of safety—helping ensure that those who support the mission are also protected while carrying it out.

DOLE Tarlac conducted a series of capacity-building trainings for the employees of Tarlac Medical Center on said dates:

📌 August 11 – Effective Communication, Interpersonal Skills & Safe Spaces Act
📌 August 18 – Positive Discipline & Handling Difficult Employees
📌 August 27 – Grievance Handling, Conflict Resolution Skills & Power of Teamwork

Under the leadership of Secretary Francis Tolentino, the DOLE shall continuously deliver meaningful sessions focused on strengthening communication, fostering a positive workplace, and building stronger teams.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐄 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐜 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 ₱𝟐𝐌 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

Five group beneficiaries under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) received tools and equipment to support their chosen livelihood ventures, with a total assistance amounting to ₱2 million, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Tarlac on August 27, 2026 at the Tarlac City Gymnatorium.

The assistance aims to strengthen the beneficiaries’ livelihood activities, create sustainable income opportunities, and help improve their economic well-being.

In line with the directives of DOLE Secretary Francis N. Tolentino, DOLE, through its Provincial and Field Offices, continues to strengthen its support for workers in the informal sector by providing livelihood opportunities that can help communities become more productive and self-reliant.

The beneficiaries include women’s groups, transport workers, senior citizens, farmers, and former rebels, reflecting DOLE’s commitment to reaching workers and communities who need livelihood support the most.

𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃: The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office No. III convened 177 Public Employment Service Office (PESO) managers and staff from Central Luzon for the 2026 PESO Mid-Year Performance Assessment and Target Reformulation and Planning Workshop cm Capacity Development Training held on August 25-27, 2026, at Royce Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone.

Through the activity, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s thrust to strengthen employment facilitation, livelihood assistance, and social protection programs for Filipino workers was advanced and enabled the Department and its partner PESOs to review accomplishments, identify gaps, refine targets, and improve employment and livelihood services across the region.

DOLE 3 Statistician II Patricia Edejer presented the results of the Department’s two-year monitoring and survey of its livelihood program, covering 5,036 individual and 449 group projects nationwide. Of these, 356 individual and 16 group projects were surveyed in Central Luzon.

For stronger implementation, DOLE Region 3 Assistant Regional Director Alejandro Inza Cruz called for continued monitoring and support to ensure sustainability of livelihood initiatives. He stressed the need to prioritize beneficiaries and projects capable of remaining sustainable beyond the initial assistance.

He also called for stronger follow-through for GIP and SPES beneficiaries through job fairs, referrals, and skills training, consistent with DOLE Secretary Francis N. Tolentino’s commitment to expanding access to decent and sustainable employment.
