‼️Search and Rescue Update September 6, 2026 Sunday
‼️
Different agencies, including MDRRMO Concepcion, are currently deployed to conduct search and retrieval operations. Drones have been deployed and the Philippine Air Force has flown a helicopter; meanwhile, some teams are conducting ground searches and others are continuing to sweep the riverbanks here in Brgy. Tampo, Bayambang, Pangasinan.

‼️Search and Retrieval Update‼️

Today September 4, 2026 Friday the SRR Teams deployed their motorized boats today in Brgy. Umanday Bugallon, Pangasinan along Agno River to continue the Search and Retrieval Operation for the two passenger of the SUV. The SRR Teams focused on the the submerged rice fields as well as the kans grass and trees along the edges. However, there are still no sightings of the two passengers of the SUV. The Search and Retrieval Operation ended 4:00 in the afternoon.

Responders deployed their motorized boats for a second time. They conducted another search, with some team members scouring the dense, overgrown sections of the Agno River upstream from the town of Bugallon toward Aguilar. However, there were still no sightings of the two SUV passengers. The operations will continue again tomorrow.

September 3, 2026 Thursday
Several agencies, including MDRRMO Concepcion, augmented on the search and retrieval operation for the passengers of the SUV that plunged off the Agana Bridge Tarlac City. Motorized boats were deployed by rescuers near the Urbiztondo-Mangatarem Bridge on the Agno River. Due to the strong current, the team navigated carefully down stream through the river toward the towns of Aguilar and Bugallon in Pangasinan. September 2, 2026 Wednesday MDRRMO Concepcion and MDRRMO Victoria were tapped for augmentation. They were deployed to assist in the response to a drowning incident in the Tarlac River. A visual search and river sweep were conducted using a boat equipped with an outboard motor. The MDRRMO teams carried out the search and rescue operation with great caution due to the river's extremely strong current.
