Buenventura Alandy National High School placed 2nd in the Learning Resource Booth Competition during the 32nd Library and Information Services Month.

The said booth was opened to Buenaventurians for the whole duration of the LIS Month.

Aside from the award received by the school for its booth, Fiona Alea L. Lubiano also received recognition as 3rd placer in the storytelling contest.

The annual LIS month is held every November under Presidential Proclamation No. 837 which aims to heighten "public awareness of the invaluable service that libraries and information centers render."

Buenaventura Alandy National High School commenced its Library and Information Services Month Celebration during the flag raising ceremony.

One of the activities relevant to the celebration include a ZUMBOOK, a 30 minute dance zumba.

This activity aimed to gather donation books from stakeholders, teachers and students.

Bookmark making contest

In connection with the National Celebration of Library and Information Services Month, Buenaventura Alandy National High School held a bookmark-making contest for Junior High School and Senior High School students.

The said activity highlighted student's creativity and familiarity with literature as one of the criteria for judging that the bookmark must highlight any famous character.
