Today (July 9, 2026), the Taytay Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) visited again DepEd Taytay Integrated School for a Drug Awareness and Safety Orientation with the Grade 9 Learners (Batch 1)!

Big thanks to Ms. Bhizel Torres of MADAC for facilitating the session and teaching the junior high school students how to protect themselves, look out for one another, and make healthy choices.

Kudos to Batch 1 for being so attentive and participative! Let's keep Taytay safe and drug-free! ๐ŸŒŸ

๐Ÿ“ข MADAC Conducts Drug Awareness and Safety Orientation at DepEd Taytay Integrated School

In line with our continuous commitment to fostering a safe and drug-free community, the Taytay Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) and BADAC San Juan spearheaded a Drug Awareness and Safety Orientation last July 7 & 8, 2026, for the Grade 10 Learners of Taytay Integrated School. ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

The seminar was facilitated by Ms. Bhizel Torres of MADAC, who focused on educating our junior high school students on drug prevention, safety protocols, and the critical role the youth play in community building.

A journey of transformation is never easy, but with discipline, faith, and the support of the community, change is always possible!
Last June 26, 2026, the Municipality of Taytay proudly celebrated the Graduation Ceremony for the completers of the "Simula ng Aking Ganap at Inaasahang Pagbabago" (SAGIP) - Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) under the module "Katatagan, Kalusugan, at Damayan ng Komunidad" (KKDK).

Held at the Atrium of the Taytay Municipal Hall, the graduation marked a triumphant milestone for our enrollees who successfully completed their journey toward healing and recovery.

This is not just an end to a program, but the beautiful beginning of a reformed, healthy, and purposeful life. We are incredibly proud of your resilience!

๐Ÿ‘Š Our Action, Our Future! Taytay marks IDADAIT 2026 across all barangays!

For this year's International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT), MADAC and BADAC joined forces to launch an aggressive, information-packed campaign throughout the municipality! ๐Ÿขโœจ

To ensure the message reaches every household, our local councils rolled out the following initiatives: ๐Ÿ“Œ Education First: Conduct of localized Drug Awareness and Prevention Education Orientations. ๐Ÿ“Œ Grassroots Awareness: Strategic distribution of educational brochures and leaflets (IEC materials) in our neighborhoods. ๐Ÿ“Œ Community Solidarity: Putting up official IDADAIT banners and tarpaulins in prominent areas of each barangay.

Education and awareness are our strongest weapons against illegal drugs. Thank you to our hardworking MADAC and BADAC teams for keeping Taytay safe and protected! ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ๐ŸŒฑ

๐Ÿš€ Strengthening Our Shield: Moving Forward to a Drug-Free Taytay 2026!

Last June 25, 2026, the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) successfully convened for its 2nd Quarterly Meeting for CY 2026 at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Taytay Municipal Building.

Our local leaders and council members gathered to refine our strategic roadmap for the year, focusing on key actionable pillars: ๐Ÿ”น Grassroots Intervention: Scaling up prevention programs directly in our neighborhoods. ๐Ÿ”น Barangay Synergy: Enhancing active coordination with our 5 component Barangays. ๐Ÿ”น Holistic Recovery: Evaluating and upgrading the progress of our community-based rehabilitation efforts.

The Municipality of Taytay remains true to its mission: "Secure the successful and continuous recovery of Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDs) by providing sustainable programs of treatment and rehabilitation.โ€ Through our weekly "Simula ng Aking Ganap at Inaasahang Pagbabago" (SAGIP): Katatagan, Kalusugan, at Damayan sa Komunidad (KKDK-CBDRP) sessions, our enrollees tackle the internal and external challenges of recovery. For our latest Friday cycles, they focused on two of the most critical psychological milestones in the program:

๐Ÿ‘ค Facilitated by: Mr. Rey Maligaya

A vital session teaching participants how to navigate inner struggles, handle emotional stress, and reframe negative thoughts that might hinder their healing.

๐Ÿ›๏ธโœจ Strengthening Integrity in Public Service!

Throughout the month of June 2026, the Municipality of Taytay successfully conducted the "Drug Awareness and Prevention Education (DAPE) and Drug-Free Workplace Policy Orientation" for all regular and Job Order (JO) employees.

Held every Monday and Thursday at the DRRMO Training Room, these sessions served as a vital preparatory step ahead of our upcoming mandatory random drug testing across all municipal offices. By ensuring our workforce is fully educated on workplace policies and the dangers of illegal substances, we reinforce our unwavering commitment to maintaining a safe, transparent, and accountable local government.
