On June 29, 2026, the Blue Water Consultancy conducted a presentation and discussion on the Likas-Kayang Turismo framework with the Municipal Tourism Council, together with the Department Heads of the Municipal Government of Taytay.

The activity aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of sustainable tourism principles and strategies that promote responsible tourism development while preserving the municipality's natural, cultural, and historical resources. The session also encouraged collaboration among various municipal offices in aligning tourism initiatives with sustainable development goals.

The presentation serves as a significant step in advancing the Bagong Taytay direction by strengthening the municipality's tourism planning and governance. Through the integration of the Likas-Kayang Turismo framework, the Municipal Government is better equipped to develop tourism programs and policies that are inclusive, resilient, and environmentally responsible. This initiative reinforces the commitment of Taytay to fostering a sustainable tourism industry that benefits both the local community and future generations.

🌴 Pasinggatan Festival 2026: Community Airbnb Invitation 🌴

Warm greetings, fellow Taytayanos!

As we prepare to welcome a surge of visitors for this year's Pasinggatan Festival in Taytay, Palawan, we are currently experiencing a shortage of accommodation rooms in our municipality.

In this light, we are inviting all Taytayanos to become part of this exciting opportunity by opening your homes to guests through a Community Airbnb initiative. If you have an extra room, a vacant house, or even a simple but clean and safe space, you can help host our visitors while earning additional income.

✨ Why join?
• Earn extra income during the festival
• Showcase Taytay’s warm hospitality
• Support local tourism and community growth
• Be part of a meaningful cultural celebration

🏡 Who can join?
• Homeowners with available rooms or houses
• Families willing to host short-term guests
• Anyone with a safe, clean, and welcoming space

Let’s work together to ensure that every visitor experiences the beauty, culture, and hospitality of Taytay. Your home can be their home during this festive season!

📩 For registration and guidelines, please contact the Municipal Tourism Office thru Taytay Palawan Tourism Promotions, [email protected], or through this page.

From your homes to their hearts—let’s make their Pasinggatan Festival experience unforgettable. 💛

The interns from San Brendan College Inc. (SBCI) presented their outputs and shared their learnings from their immersion at the MTDMO, with a focus on Fort Sta. Isabel.

Over the course of their 10-day stay, from March 23 to April 1, 2026, they demonstrated commitment and a strong appreciation for local history and tourism. Their presentation reflected the knowledge and skills they developed through hands-on experience in our office.

As their internship program concludes today, April 1, we extend our sincere appreciation for their efforts and contributions during their 80-hour immersion.
We are proud of what they have accomplished in such a short time and wish them continued growth and success in their academic and professional journeys.
