The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) of Surigao del Sur, under the leadership of Governor Johnny T. Pimentel, through PSWDO Head Ms. Hershe L. Nunez, and the E-CLIP Team headed by E-CLIP Focal Person Ms. Xeeremae M. Maquiling, successfully conducted the Skills Training on Fishpond Production, Fish Processing, and Value-Adding Activities for Former Rebels (FRs), Women, and Indigenous Peoples (IPs).

Participants enthusiastically took part in hands-on demonstrations and practical learning sessions, equipping them with knowledge and skills in fish processing and value-adding that can be transformed into sustainable livelihood opportunities.

This initiative reflects the Provincial Government's continuing commitment to promoting inclusive development, supporting peace-building efforts, and empowering vulnerable sectors through capacity-building and livelihood interventions. By providing opportunities for learning and economic self-sufficiency, we help pave the way toward stronger families and more resilient communities.

Together, we continue to transform lives through partnership, empowerment, and sustainable development.

Miss Xeeremae M. Maquiling, RSW, Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP) Focal Person of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), together with Mr. Aljun Intano, UCPDFI President, participated in the Provincial Development Council Executive Committee (PDC ExeCom) Meeting.

Their participation highlighted the continuing commitment of the Provincial Government of Surigao del Sur and its partner stakeholders to strengthen inter-agency collaboration, promote inclusive and sustainable development, and support the effective implementation of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP). The meeting also served as a venue for discussing priority provincial development initiatives and reinforcing the Whole-of-Nation Approach toward lasting peace, security, and the successful reintegration of former rebels into mainstream society.
