𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

As part of the school's commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its learners during the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027, a brief but productive meeting was held between 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖. 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮, School Principal IV, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗗𝗟. 𝗧𝗲𝗼𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗼, Head Teacher I, and 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗝𝘂𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘆 𝗠. 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗲, Barangay Captain of Barangay Bagumbayan.

The discussion focused on concerns related to the increasing volume of students crossing nearby streets and the traffic congestion brought about by the surge of learners returning to school. Various solutions and alternative measures were explored to help ensure the safety of students while improving traffic flow within and around the school vicinity.

As of the meeting, the school's enrollment remained below 𝟯,𝟬𝟬𝟬 students; however, projections indicated that enrollment could still increase and potentially exceed the previous school year's total enrollment, which was below 𝟯,𝟮𝟬𝟬 students. In view of this expected growth, the participants discussed traffic management strategies, strengthened coordination between the school and barangay officials, and other measures aimed at creating a safer and more organized environment for learners, parents, motorists, and the community.

The meeting was also graced by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗨. 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) of the Teresa Sub-Office, who was at Teresa National High School for the monitoring and inspection of the opening of classes. Her presence further emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts among education leaders and local government officials in addressing school-related concerns.

This initiative reflects Teresa National High School's continuing commitment to fostering a safe, secure, and learner-friendly environment through strong partnerships with community stakeholders.

𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗔 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗦 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳

𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐀, 𝐑𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐋 — Teresa National High School formally welcomed learners, parents, teachers, and stakeholders as it officially opened the School Year 2026–2027 through a meaningful 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 conducted during the school's 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲.

The event was spearheaded by the school's Principal, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂. 𝐒𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚, together with the Head Teachers, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐑. 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐃𝐋. 𝐓𝐞𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐨, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐞𝐟𝐣𝐞𝐟 𝐉. 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐨, and 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐲 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐃. 𝐒𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐚, in collaboration with the Grade Level Coordinators and the teaching personnel.

The program was also graced by the officers of the 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬-𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐒𝐏𝐓𝐀) led by its President, 𝐂𝐨𝐥. 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐀. 𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐫. (𝐑𝐞𝐭.), whose presence underscored the strong partnership between the school and the parent community in supporting quality education and learner development.

During the program, Dr. Sierra warmly welcomed the learners and inspired them to embrace the new academic year with enthusiasm, discipline, resilience, and a commitment to excellence. She emphasized the importance of creating a positive learning environment where every learner is encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Likewise, Col. Escorpion delivered a message of support on behalf of the SPTA, highlighting the vital role of collaboration among parents, teachers, and stakeholders in ensuring the success and well-being of every student. He reaffirmed the association's commitment to working hand in hand with the school in achieving its goals and aspirations.

One of the highlights of the Opening of Classes Program was the introduction of the Grade Advisers and Subject Teachers for each grade level. This activity provided students and parents with the opportunity to become acquainted with the educators who will guide and support them throughout the school year, fostering stronger connections between the school and its learners.

The successful conduct of the program during the First Flag Ceremony reflected the collective commitment of the school administration, faculty, parents, and stakeholders to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and learner-centered educational environment.

As 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 embarks on another year of educational excellence, the entire school community remains steadfast in its mission of developing competent, responsible, and future-ready learners.

With renewed hope, determination, and a shared vision for success, Teresa National High School looks forward to a productive, meaningful, and rewarding School Year 2026–2027.

The Child Protection Committee (CPC) is established to ensure that all school policies and programs uphold the safety, dignity, and rights of every learner.

It serves as a collaborative body composed of school administrators, guidance personnel, teachers, parent representatives, barangay officials, and student leaders, working together to strengthen and sustain effective child protection measures within the school.

Through its continuous initiatives, the committee promotes vigilance, responsiveness, and shared responsibility in addressing concerns that affect learners’ welfare and holistic development.
