On September 3, 2026, Ternate Integrated National High School conducted the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents. The drill was held following the recently reported incidents of attacks in several schools, highlighting the importance of being alert and prepared.

The activity helped students and school personnel understand what actions to take and how to respond appropriately during such situations, while staying calm and prioritizing safety.

Our SDRRM team are having meetings and discussing what to do before, during, and after incidents occur so that we are well prepared and will be able to take the right steps to avoid and be safe.

In view of the continuous effects of the ongoing tropical storm, classes are officially suspended on Friday, July 10, 2026, in accordance with the appropriate advisory from the local authorities.

The safety and well-being of all learners, teachers, personnel, and the community remain our highest priority. Everyone is encouraged to remain vigilant and observe the following precautionary measures:

🚨 SIMULTANEOUS BOMB THREAT DRILL 🚨

Ternate Integrated National High School conducted the Simultaneous Bomb Threat Drill to strengthen the preparedness of students, teachers, and school personnel in responding safely and effectively to emergency situations.

This activity reinforces the importance of staying calm, following proper emergency procedures, and working together to ensure a safe and secure learning environment.

Remember: A bomb joke or false bomb threat is a criminal offense punishable under Presidential Decree No. 1727.

NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED) | June 18, 2026

The Ternate Integrated National High School community successfully participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), demonstrating preparedness, discipline, and cooperation in responding to earthquake emergencies.

Following the drill, Mr. Andro Calderon delivered an informative speech on the importance of proper earthquake response, emphasizing the significance of remaining calm, following safety protocols, and practicing the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure. His message served as a reminder that preparedness and awareness are essential in minimizing risks and protecting lives during disasters.

The activity was followed by a Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) meeting to evaluate the conduct of the drill, discuss observations, and identify areas for improvement in strengthening the school's disaster preparedness initiatives.

Every drill serves as a reminder that preparedness begins with knowledge and is strengthened through action. By working together, we continue to foster a culture of resilience, responsibility, and safety within our school community.
