Lusacan Elementary School successfully conducted its First Staff Meeting on May 7, 2026, as part of its preparation for the upcoming School Year and other school-related activities. The meeting was led by Principal III Mam Donna Aรฑonuevo and Head Teacher III Apollo B. Amores, and was attended by Master Teachers, Grade Leaders, and teachers from various grade levels. Key topics discussed included the upcoming District Gender and Development (GAD) activities, the IPCRF/OPCRF, Brigada Eskwela, Tara Basa, the ARAL Program, and the implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar.

Lusacan Elementary School conducted a Parent Orientation for the ARAL Summer Program 2026 on May 6, 2026. The orientation was led by the schoolโ€™s Principal III, Maโ€™am Donna Aรฑonuevo, together with Curriculum Implementer Apollo B. Amores, Head Teacher III. The event was attended by grade-level leaders, internal and external ARAL tutors, parents, and students.
The ARAL (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning) Program is an important initiative aimed at helping learners improve their foundational skills in reading, writing, and numeracy, especially those who need additional academic support. It provides opportunities for learners to catch up on missed competencies and strengthens their confidence and preparedness for the next school year.
This program is anchored on Republic Act No. 12028, also known as the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program Act, which mandates the implementation of remedial and intervention programs to address learning gaps among Filipino learners. Through this law, the Department of Education ensures that all students are given equitable access to quality education and academic support.
