𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘-𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 | 𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) conducted a Life-Saving Skills Training on August 20, 2026, at the Municipal Evacuation Center, with caregivers, parents, and community leaders of Barangay Impugong as participants.

The training covered basic life-saving skills, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and proper response to Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO), with practical exercises to help participants respond effectively during emergencies.

The activity aimed to strengthen the participants’ preparedness and equip them with essential skills to provide immediate assistance and help ensure the safety of children and community members during emergency situations.

𝗠𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗖 𝟯𝗥𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗟𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) conducts its 3rd Regular Quarterly Meeting today, August 20, 2026, at the Evacuation Center.

The Council reviewed the proposed realignment of funds for the procurement of food and non-food items, including stockpiled food, medicines, and medical supplies. They also discussed the proposed fund realignment to improve the Hayukong–Atunglo CIS (Ahin), with ₱200,000.00 allocated to the Pulag–Imbatog CIS.

The Council likewise tackled the schedule for the Basic Incident Command System (BICS) training, which will be attended by all MDRRMC members. It also outlined plans for the establishment of a Municipal and Barangay Communication Network using two-way radios to ensure reliable communication in case regular communication networks are disrupted during disasters.

The meeting aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness, coordination, and response in the municipality.

𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 | 𝗦𝗢𝗜𝗟 𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗡𝗬𝗟𝗢𝗡 𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗛

The Municipal Government of Tinoc, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), distributes soil tillers and nylon mesh to 30 individual beneficiaries today, August 20, 2026, at the Municipal Gymnasium.

The assistance was funded by the Department of Labor and Employment – Cordillera Administrative Region (DOLE-CAR) to support the livelihood activities of the beneficiaries.

The beneficiaries submitted their livelihood proposals through the PESO Office in the year 2024. Other submitted proposals are still awaiting funding and remain pipelined with the DOLE Office for possible assistance.

𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | 𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐘 𝐀𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐍𝐎 𝐃𝐀𝐘

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1006 s. 2025, please be informed that the offices of the Municipal Government of Tinoc will be CLOSED on Friday, August 21, 2026, in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day, declared a Special Non-Working Day nationwide.

The Municipal Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 activities will continue as scheduled despite the holiday. All participants and concerned individuals are advised to take note of the activity schedule and venue.

Regular office operations will resume on Monday, August 24, 2026.

𝗕𝗨𝗗𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗨𝗠 | 𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Municipal Government of Tinoc conducted a Budget Forum today, August 19, 2026, at the Sangguniang Bayan Hall, attended by municipal officials, heads of offices, unit heads, and representatives from partner agencies, to present and discuss the proposed Annual Budget for Calendar Year (CY) 2027.

During the forum, the budget requirements of the different offices and units were reviewed, including their proposed Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) for CY 2027. Participants also presented their concerns, clarified budget requirements, and discussed requests for funding for unallocated mandated PPAs.

The activity aimed to support the preparation of an inclusive, sustainable, and balanced 2027 municipal budget by ensuring that available funds were properly allocated to priority programs and activities and aligned with the needs and mandates of the different offices and sectors.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will conduct a National ID Mobile Registration to make the service more accessible to residents. Please take note of the schedule, venue, and requirements.

• August 21–22, 2026 – Gumhang Barangay Hall

• Ages 5 and above: Birth Certificate or any valid ID/supporting document
• Ages 5 and below: Child’s Birth Certificate, parent/guardian’s National ID, and presence of the parent/guardian

• Married to Single – Certificate of No Marriage

𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗗 𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗕𝗢𝗔𝗥𝗗 (𝗘𝗦𝗪𝗠𝗕) 𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚

The Ecological Solid Waste Management Board (ESWMB) convened an emergency meeting today at the Sangguniang Bayan Hall to discuss and provide updates on environmental and solid waste management concerns of the Municipality.

Among the major matters discussed and agreed upon, were the Sanitary Landfill Phase II at Nalatang, Ap-apid, targeted to be operational by CY 2027 and the fast-tracking of Municipal Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) Phase II for completion in 2026.

The Board also discussed the proposed Annual Search for the Cleanest Barangay institutionalizing ordinance for the program's guidelines, mechanics, and criteria, as well as measures to ban single-use plastics, Styrofoam, and sando bags to reduce waste generation and promote responsible environmental practices.

Also discussed was the Market Day Launching, tentatively scheduled for September 12, 2026, featuring the “GET YOUR OWN BAG” Campaign to encourage the use of reusable bags.

With these initiatives, we hope that the Local Government Unit of Tinoc and the community will work together to protect our environment for the benefit of all Tinocians.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗔𝗡 | The Municipal Government of Tinoc conducted its regular Hapittan Meeting today, August 17, 2026, at the Municipal Gymnasium, with municipal officials, department heads, employees, and partner agencies.

The meeting discussed the proposed program of activities for the Market Day Launching, the creation of administrative committees for municipal activities, and the request for the borrowing of an X-Ray Machine for TPH, and other matters.

The meeting served as a venue for coordination and decision-making among concerned offices to ensure the proper implementation of municipal activities, clear assignment of responsibilities, and efficient delivery of public services.

The Local Government Unit of Tinoc warmly welcomed PLT. Mark Anthony Talosig, Platoon Leader of the 1st Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company (IPMFC), during the flag ceremony held on August 17, 2026, at the Municipal Gymnasium.

The LGU Tinoc looks forward to strengthening coordination and partnership with PLT. Talosig and the 1st IPMFC in promoting peace, order, and public safety in the municipality.
