๐ LGBT-CORONA Tiwi Pride Month Celebration 2026: A Celebration of Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion๐
We proudly celebrates the successful conduct of the LGBT-CORONA Tiwi Pride Month Celebration 2026,a significant event that brought together members of the LGBTQIA+ community, local government officials, partner offices, and allies in promoting a society founded on respect, equality, acceptance, and inclusivity.
This meaningful celebration served as a reminder that every individual deserves to be recognized, valued, and empowered regardless of gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation. Through unity and collective action, we continue to strengthen our commitment to creating a community where diversity is embraced and human dignity is upheld.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Hon. Mayor Jose Morel Climaco for his continued support and steadfast commitment to advancing programs and initiatives that promote inclusivity, equality, and the welfare of all sectors of our community. His leadership and support have been instrumental in making activities such as this possible and successful.
Our sincere appreciation is likewise extended to our Municipal Councilor and Committee Chairman on Gender and Development (GAD) for championing programs that advocate for gender equality, social inclusion, and the protection of the rights of every individual in our municipality.
We would also like to recognize and thank the Municipal Health Office (MHO) for conducting an informative and meaningful discussion on HIV Awareness,which helped educate participants on the importance of prevention, testing, treatment, and eliminating stigma through accurate information and community support.
Special thanks are extended to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO)for their invaluable assistance throughout the Pride Parade, ensuring the safety, security, and orderly conduct of the activity from start to finish.
We are equally grateful to the General Services Office (GSO) for providing the necessary logistical support and services that contributed greatly to the comfort and successful participation of all attendees.
This successful celebration would not have been possible without the dedication, hard work, and commitment of the individuals working behind the scenes. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the Gender and Development (GAD) Staff,the Mayor's Office Staff for the logistic and sound system, and the members of LGBT-CORONA Tiwi,under the leadership of Sir Joseph Binarao,for their tireless efforts in planning, coordinating, and implementing the activities that made this year's Pride Month celebration meaningful and memorable.
To all participants, volunteers, supporters, advocates, and community members who joined us in this celebration, thank you for standing with us in promoting a culture of acceptance, understanding, and equal opportunity for all. Your presence and support continue to inspire positive change and strengthen our collective commitment to building a more inclusive Municipality of Tiwi.
As we conclude this year's Pride Month celebration, may we continue to uphold the values of respect, compassion, equality, and unityโnot only during Pride Month but every day of the year.
