The Banggi nin Pasasalamat served as a night of gratitude for everyone who contributed to the success of the Coron Festival celebrations.

The evening brought together organizers, partners, performers, volunteers, participating groups, and Tiwinhons who shared their time, effort, and support throughout the festivities.

The celebration was a simple yet meaningful way of recognizing the people behind the success of Coron Festival 2026 and thanking everyone who helped make the celebration possible.

𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗵𝗼𝗻

Hundreds of devotees took part in the annual Peregrinasyon sa Mag-agahon, walking from St. Lawrence the Martyr Parish to the Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Salvation in Joroan in the early hours of the morning.

The nine-kilometer pilgrimage is held annually on the last Saturday of August, bringing together devotees from Tiwi and neighboring communities in a shared expression of faith and devotion to Our Lady of Salvation.

The centuries-old tradition continues to form part of Tiwi’s rich religious and cultural heritage.

Trail runners gathered for the Muzna Ultra Trail, a challenging outdoor race that put participants’ endurance, determination, and love for the mountains to the test.

Held in partnership with MUZNA Sportswear, the event brought together runners who took on Tiwi's rugged trail routes.

ADVISORY: Please be informed that the LGU’s regular four-day work schedule is hereby resumed from August 24-27. Office hours shall be from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Thursday.
