To help improve the lives of the people, we held a people-centered meeting with 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜. 𝙁𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙤𝙣 𝙈. 𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙨, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, along with 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖. 🏛️✨

We explored entering into a collaborative engagement with his cooperative network to educate, empower, and guide Ilonggos in saving, investing, and improving their economic conditions. 💡📈 We believe that through strong linkages and a community-driven focus, we create resilient, progressive communities. 🌐🌱

This afternoon, we held discussions with 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙡 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙩 𝘽. 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖, 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘐𝘭𝘰𝘪𝘭𝘰 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦 , focused on key legislative matters concerning the 𝙋𝙉𝙋 𝙇𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘼𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙖 for the 20𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨. 📜

In pursuit of our housing initiatives, we held a meeting with the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝟔 led by 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙫𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙛𝙞𝙡, SHAFC, along with 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖. 🤝

We congratulated the newly promoted judges for their dedication and milestone, paid tribute to our retired and retiring judges whose years of service continue to leave a lasting legacy, and commended everyone because—true to the celebration's onyx theme—they have been shaped by pressure, strengthened by time, and polished by years of faithful service.

Another proposed law that we authored---𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐍𝐨. 𝟖𝟐𝟖---is moving closer to being finally passed as the substitute bill was tackled today in the 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞’𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 🏛️

Our “𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙣 𝘽𝙞𝙡𝙡” is seeking to protect individuals who provide assistance to those in need. It was harmonized with two other bills aiming the same protection for good Samaritans. Their compassion embodies the kind of governance we stand for—one anchored in #𝐆𝐮𝐠𝐦𝐚 ❤️ and #𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄. ✨

The Committee also discussed the 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥, the 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥, and the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥. We attended the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 & 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 hearing to express our full support for 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝟴𝟯𝟵𝟯, which we 𝘤𝘰-𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘥 with fellow legislators, to address the vicious cycle of 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 (𝗩𝗔𝗪𝗣). 🏛️⚖️

When we entered politics in 2019, we were subjected to ridicule, name-calling, vilification and online libel for simply being a woman. As your #𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫, we will make sure that no woman will ever have to endure the weight of intimidation and harassment that I have faced.

Women who have dedicated their lives to public service deserve to lead without fear in a governance of 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄. We will continue to create safer spaces for every woman and promote gender equality in a Bagong Pilipinas. 🌸🇵🇭
