Southern Leyte State University–Tomas Oppus Campus, in coordination with the Municipality of Pintuyan, invites everyone to support the Pintuyan Municipal Library Book Donation Drive.

Whether it’s a beloved novel, a children’s story, a reference book, or an old textbook, your unused books can find a new purpose and inspire another reader. Every donation is an opportunity to make knowledge more accessible and help nurture a culture of reading in the community.

NOW HAPPENING: Southern Leyte State University welcomes representatives from 22 universities to B.A.S.A. 2026: Building, Advancing, Sharing, and Amplifying Library Innovations, with the event guided by the leadership of CHED Commissioner Michelle Aguilar Ong, at the SLSU Learning Commons and Library Services.

B.A.S.A. 2026 brings together academic library leaders and practitioners to showcase innovations, technology-enabled solutions, and institutional practices that promote accessible, sustainable, and quality library services.

More than a showcase of innovations, the gathering underscores a shared vision of academic libraries as dynamic spaces that advance learning, research, innovation, internationalization, and institutional excellence.
Southern Leyte State University is proud to be part of this continuing conversation on the future of academic libraries.
