TPSAT LAUNCHES EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES NC III TRAINING IN TORRIJOS, MARINDUQUE

TPSAT officially launched the Early Childhood Care and Development Services NC III Training on May 26, 2026, held at Poctoy White Beach, Torrijos, Marinduque.

The event was graced by the Honorable Mayor of Torrijos, Engr. Joey Peñaflor, together with Mr. Erwin Buñag, Acting Provincial Director of TESDA Marinduque Provincial Office; Ms. Crystal Gayle Hernandez of MSWDO; and Engr. Joey Morales, Acting Vocational School Administrator of TPSAT, alongside the ECCD Services NC III trainer, Ms. Ydha Marie Laroza-Loto.

The Training Induction Program (TIP) was facilitated by Ms. Mayella Layag, Scholarship Focal Person of TESDA Marinduque Provincial Office. It was actively attended by Child Development Workers from various barangays of Torrijos, reflecting strong community participation and a shared commitment to advancing quality early childhood care and development services.

The training program will run until July 2, 2026, aiming to further strengthen competencies and enhance the delivery of ECCD services within the community.

TPSAT JOINS THE 146TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY OF TORRIJOS

TPSAT proudly joined the celebration of the 146th Founding Anniversary of Torrijos on May 25, 2026, through active participation in the civic parade, thanksgiving mass, Palaro ng Lahi, and various activities organized for the occasion.

The celebration highlighted the rich culture, unity, and strong community spirit of the people of Torrijos.

TPSAT Teams Up with DOST for Food Safety Training

To ensure the highest standards in food preparation, the Torrijos Poblacion School of Arts and Trade (TPSAT) conducted Food Safety Training for its trainers and trainees on May 13, 2026.

The training was organized to instill rigorous safety habits for use during practical sessions. By focusing on consistent safety practices, the school aims to ensure that all food and beverages prepared within the institution meet professional health standards.

The event was held in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and was facilitated by DOST representative, Ms. Bernadette Joyce C. Matining. Ms. Matining guided participants through essential food handling techniques, the proper implementation of safety protocols, and the identification of potential hazards that could lead to food contamination.

This initiative ensures that all prepared products meet high-quality standards and, above all, are safe for consumption.
