2026 3rd Quarter Provincial/City/Municipal DRRM Officers’ Meeting

The 2026 3rd Quarter Provincial/City/Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Officers’ Meeting was successfully held on 03 September 2026 at the Cavite Provincial Command Center, presided over by Ms. Eloisa G. Rozul, PhD, EnP, Department Head, with 16 of 23 LDRRMOs in attendance and/or duly represented.

Key agenda items included:

1. Weather Outlook – DOST-PAGASA
2. Taal Volcano Updates – DOST-PHIVOLCS
3. Disease Surveillance in Cavite – OPHO-Cavite
4. ABKD Orientation – Awareness of Bomb that Kills and Destroy Properties - PNP - EOD/K9
5. OCD-CALABARZON Policy Guidance and Priorities

The meeting concluded with a closing message from Mr. Kelvin John Reyes of OCD-CALABARZON.

The meeting served as a valuable platform for collaboration, ensuring that local DRRM officers remain informed, coordinated, and prepared to address emerging hazards and strengthen disaster resilience throughout the Province of Cavite.
