𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀

With the theme, “Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan,” the country celebrates National Flag Days annually from May 28 to June 12. It commemorates the Battle of Alapan, the unfurling of flag in Cavite City and culminates on Independence Day.

𝗦𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗥 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘

The Office of the Provincial Tourism Officer, in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), conducted the first part of the Seminar-Workshop on Heritage Governance, which aimed to equip LGUs with practical knowledge on heritage, conservation policies and relevant laws, and proper identification and documentation of cultural assets through cultural mapping. Held on April 20, May 11 and 25, 2026 and attended by local tourism officers, LDRRM officers, planning and development coordinators, and SB Committee Chairs on Tourism and Culture, the activity proved to be highly productive and deeply informative thanks to the wisdom and guidance of NCCA resource person Mr. Bernardo Arellano III through all three sessions.
