The Sining Kamalayan Cultural Artist Collective, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Cavite, through the Office of the Provincial Tourism Officer, successfully conducted Rekonek Volume 2, a live art painting competition featuring 40 local artists. Held on August 31, 2026, at Paraiso de June Quixote EcoFarm Resort, the event carried the theme โAng Sining ng Kadakilaan, Binhi ng Himagsikan, Laban sa Korapsyon.โ
The participating artists showcased their creativity and unique interpretations of the theme through live painting, demonstrating the diverse artistic talents of Caviteรฑo artists. Beyond the competition, Rekonek Volume 2 provided a meaningful platform for artists to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate their shared passion for the arts. The event also emphasized the role of art as a medium for cultural expression, historical reflection, and raising awareness of important social issues.
Emerging as the Champion was Niรฑo Cris Odosis, followed by Eric Angelo Aquino as First Place and Dexter B. Cinco as Second Place. The successful conduct of Rekonek Volume 2 reflects the continuing commitment of the Provincial Government of Cavite and its partners to support local artists, promote cultural heritage, and strengthen the provinceโs vibrant creative community through meaningful and impactful artistic initiatives.
