Sa lahat ng mga benepisyaryo ng Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens Program (SocPen), ipinapaalam po namin ang opisyal na Validation at Payout Schedule para sa buwan ng Agosto 2026, kasama ang listahan ng mga kinakailangang dokumento.

📌 Mangyaring basahin at sundin ang mga kalakip na posters para sa inyong iskedyul ng validation at payout. Siguraduhing kumpleto at tama ang lahat ng kinakailangang dokumento upang maging maayos, mabilis, at walang abala ang inyong transaksyon.

• Planting Trees, Growing Hope!

Today, we came together to make a positive impact on our environment through our tree-planting activity. Every seedling planted is a step toward a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future for generations to come.

The Local Government Unit of Tubaran, in partnership with Tubaran National High School, successfully conducted a Tree Planting and Growing Activity in Barangay Datumanong, Tubaran Lanao del Sur.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all participants: the TNHS students, Teachers,LGU staff, volunteers, PSW, BLGU, and our esteemed Councilors. 💚

Through your collective effort, 100 assorted seedlings were planted, contributing to a greener and healthier Tubaran.

Together, let's continue protecting nature-one tree at a time.

The Local Government Unit of Tubaran, Lanao del Sur, conducted its regular flag-raising ceremony today, June 8, 2026. Under the leadership of Mayor Raida Dimaporo Papandayan, Vice-mayor Tungco Acsara Modiaba together with Municipal Councilors, Punong barangay, MSSD of Tubaran Casamela Sedic SWO ll, Rural Health Unit, Barangay Health Workers, BLGU, COMMITTEE, Para Social Workers and other Officials.

Alhamdulillah, despite the earthquake, we were still able to have our flag ceremony, thanks to the Tubaran LGU for being active.

On election day in May 2001, 𝗠𝗮𝘂𝘆𝗮𝗴 "𝗝𝘂𝗻" 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗿. was already disqualified. COMELEC had pulled him off the race just days before the polls opened, ruling he wasn't a legal resident of Tubaran, Lanao del Sur.

The people of Tubaran didn't care. They went to the polls and gave him the most votes anyway.

That act of collective defiance sparked one of the most consequential election law cases in Philippine history. Papandayan brought the fight to the Supreme Court, and on April 16, 2002, the En Banc ruled in his favor. Papandayan, Jr. v. COMELEC (G.R. No. 147909) is now standard reading in Philippine law schools — a landmark that reinforced a deceptively simple principle: when a candidate's roots in a community are real, the will of the voters must be upheld.

It was the beginning of a career defined by fighting for what his constituents needed.

As Mayor of Tubaran, he built that trust across multiple terms. When he moved to the national stage as 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿'𝘀 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 (𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟵), he brought the same sense of urgency. He authored a bill to give Lake Lanao — one of Mindanao's most vital natural treasures — its own dedicated regulatory authority. He co-authored early reparation legislation for families whose homes were destroyed in the 2017 Marawi Siege, a conflict that took his own residence in Marawi City. And he was a consistent, vocal advocate for the Bangsamoro Basic Law, arguing that peace in Mindanao had only one real foundation: justice.
