Camp Col Rafael C. Rodriguez, Libertad, Butuan City โ Demonstrating relentless commitment in the pursuit of justice, the Police Regional Office 13 (PRO13) successfully arrested eight (8) Most Wanted Persons (MWPs), including six (6) regional-level fugitives, during a series of intensified, intelligence-driven manhunt operations conducted across Caraga from February 16 to 18, 2026.
PBGEN Marcial Mariano P. Magistrado IV, Regional Director, PRO13, confirmed the arrest of alias โEnrico,โ 46 years old, tagged as ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฎโ๐ ๐ก๐๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ญ ๐ ๐ผ๐๐ ๐ช๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ผ๐ป.
The accused was apprehended on February 16, 2026, in District 5, Brgy. Macalang, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte, through a joint operation by the 1st Agusan del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company and Buenavista Municipal Police Station. He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for three (3) counts of Statutory R**e under Article 266-A (1) in relation to Article 266-B (1) of Republic Act 8353, docketed under Criminal Case Nos. 2026-0030, 2026-0031, and 2026-0032, with no bail recommended.
Separate operations conducted by personnel of Libjo Municipal Police Station and the Provincial Intelligence Unit of Dinagat Islands Police Provincial Office led to the arrest of two (2) additional regional-level MWPs identified as alias โRod,โ 46 years old, and alias โRoger.โ
Alias โRodโ was wanted for Statutory R**e through Sexual Assault under Criminal Case Nos. 2911, 2912, 2913, 2914, and 2915, while alias โRogerโ was charged with Qualified R**e in relation to Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), docketed under Criminal Case No. 2910. Both warrants were issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 32, 10th Judicial Region, San Jose, Surigao del Norte, with no bail recommended. The suspects were arrested in Brgy. Bayanihan, Libjo, Dinagat Islands, on February 16 and 17, respectively.
Three (3) more regional-level MWPs were likewise apprehended:
โข Alias โThomas,โ 20 years old, arrested in Purok 2, Brgy. Poblacion, Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte, for Qualified Statutory R**e;
โข Alias โKulot,โ 18 years old, arrested in Purok 1, Brgy. Labao, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur, for Statutory R**e;
โข Alias โHovin,โ 61 years old, arrested in Brgy. Gata, San Agustin, Surigao del Sur, for four (4) counts of Qualified R**e.
Meanwhile, alias โJabeโ was arrested for three (3) counts of violation of Section 5(b) of Republic Act 7610, while alias โNorman,โ 38 years old, was arrested for Lascivious Conduct. The two were ranked Number 3 and Number 4 Most Wanted Persons at the provincial level in Agusan del Norte and were apprehended in Brgy. 9, Cabadbaran City.
All arrested individuals are now under police custody and will face the charges filed against them.
