Sa tanang magtutudlo sa Tubigon ug sa tibuok nasud, karong adlawa, among ipadayag ang among kinasingkasing nga pasalamat ug pagpasidungog kaninyo.

Dili sayon mahimong magtutudlo. Sa matag adlaw, dili lang mo nagtudlo og mga leksyon, nagtudlo mo og kinabuhi, naghatag og paglaum, ug naghulma sa mga damgo sa atong mga kabataan.

Salamat sa inyong walay kapoy nga pag-amuma, pailub, sakripisyo, ug gugma. Sa mga gabii nga mo-andam mo sa inyong mga leksyon, sa mga higayon nga inyong giatiman ang mga estudyanteng nanginahanglan og dugang nga pagsabot, ug sa matag higayon nga inyong gipadayon ang inyong katungdanan bisan kapoy na, SALAMAT KAAYO!

Daghang pangandoy sa atong kabataan ang natuman tungod kay adunay magtutudlo nga niingon, “Kaya nimo.”

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

The Local Government Unit of Tubigon would like to clarify that the Executive Order earlier issued providing for the suspension of classes and school-related work on October 5, 2026, in celebration of National Teachers’ Day and World Teachers’ Day, is being rescinded.

The issuance was made with a sincere intention,to give our teachers and school personnel a well-deserved opportunity to celebrate and to recognize their dedication and sacrifices in educating our children.

However, after further consultation, consideration of the different circumstances, and coordination with the various stakeholders involved, the Municipal Government has decided that it is best to rescind the earlier issuance and allow the observance of Teachers’ Day to proceed in accordance with the applicable policies and arrangements of the education sector.

This is a decision made with care, responsibility, and respect for everyone involved, our teachers, school personnel, learners, parents, school administrators, and education partners.

Most importantly, this decision does not diminish our appreciation for our teachers.

We remain deeply grateful for the patience, dedication, and love they give to our children every day.

To all our teachers: our gratitude remains unchanged.

Gipangunahan ni Mayor Marlon R. Amila ang panagtigom kauban ang mga Barangay Captains ug kapulisan aron hisgutan ang mga bag-uhay nga insidente sa kawat nga nahitabo sa Tubigon.

Gitutokan sa maong panagtigom ang pagpalig-on sa koordinasyon tali sa Municipal Government, barangay officials, ug kapulisan, ingon man ang paghisgot sa mga angay nga lakang aron mapalambo ang seguridad, kahapsay, ug kalinaw sa matag komunidad.

Pinaagi sa panaghiusa, padayon nga pagmatngon, ug lig-on nga koordinasyon, atong mapalig-on ang mas luwas ug malinawon nga Tubigon alang sa tanang Tubignon.

In celebration of National Teachers’ Month and World Teachers’ Day, the Municipality of Tubigon, through the Office of the Municipal Mayor, issues an Executive Order suspending classes and work of teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public and private schools in all levels within the Municipality of Tubigon.

This suspension is intended to give our teachers and school personnel an opportunity to celebrate, rest, and be recognized for their invaluable contribution to the education and development of our Tubignon learners.

GARBO SA TURISMO: Celebrating Culture, Fashion, and Tourism in Tubigon!

Last September 30, 2026, the Tubigon Cultural Center came alive as the Local Government Unit of Tubigon proudly hosted "Garbo sa Turismo". This magnificent evening of culture, creativity, and community was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Municipal Tourism, Culture & Arts Office.

The event featured stunning cultural dances, a breathtaking raffia fashion showcase, and a special Recognition to honor those who drive our local tourism forward. A major highlight of the evening was also the official unveiling of the Tubigon Land Tour Circuit, showcasing the incredible destinations our municipality has to offer. Thank you to everyone who made this event a resounding success.

Together, let’s continue to love, promote, and take pride in the beauty of our hometown!

The Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) spearheaded a Training and Skills Development Workshop on Waste-to-Value-Adding Products on September 24–25, 2026, as part of the Panglao Island Restoration and Rehabilitation Program.

The two-day activity brought together representatives from the Municipal Government of Panglao and the Municipal Government of Dauis, in coordination with the Municipality of Tubigon, to strengthen local government capacity in converting waste materials into useful and sustainable products.

A key component of the workshop was the hands-on training on the fabrication of eco-hollow blocks, an initiative that demonstrates how recovered waste materials can be transformed into value-adding products while supporting local waste diversion and environmental protection efforts.

The activity also provided participating local government units with an opportunity to learn from Tubigon’s experience in developing and implementing its eco-hollow block initiative, with the goal of encouraging the adoption and replication of practical waste-to-value solutions in other communities.

Municipal Mayor Hon. Marlon R. Amila of Tubigon joined the activity in support of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ (DENR) continuing efforts to strengthen sustainable waste management and promote innovative approaches to resource recovery.
