The Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal, under the leadership of FSUPT BUTCH B. BAULETE, DSC, through SFO1 Cristle Mae D. Pastoriza and FO1 Yonilito Naoja, conducted a Fire and Lecture Drill at the PNP Provincial Headquarters, Pigcarangan, Tubod, Lanao del Norte. The activity aimed to strengthen the personnel’s awareness and preparedness in preventing and responding to fire emergencies in the workplace.

During the activity, the participants were oriented on the proper use, functions, and handling of fire extinguishers, including the appropriate response during the early stages of a fire. The drill provided the personnel with practical knowledge and skills that can help ensure a safer workplace and promote a culture of fire prevention and preparedness.

The Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal, under the leadership of FSUPT BUTCH B BAULETE, DSC, presented the Bureau’s provincial accomplishments during the 3rd Quarter Meeting of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) held at Room A Capitol Compound, Pigcarangan, Tubod, Lanao del Norte . The presentation highlighted key updates on the Bureau’s ongoing programs and activities, including the current status of the remaining fire stations under construction across the province.

Also in attendance was Hon. Mohamad Khalid Q. Dimaporo, Provincial Governor, who commended the BFP for its timely, well-presented, and real-time accomplishment updates. His recognition underscores the importance of continuous coordination, transparency, and collaborative efforts among provincial stakeholders in strengthening disaster preparedness and fire protection services throughout Lanao del Norte.

Baroy, Lanao del Norte – Reinforcing the importance of a unified and proactive approach to disaster resilience, FSUPT BUTCH B BAULETE, DSC, Provincial Fire Marshal of Lanao del Norte, graced the 10th Annual DRRM Stakeholders' Summit 2026 as the Guest Speaker upon the invitation of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Tubod. The annual gathering brought together representatives from national government agencies, local government units, emergency responders, partner organizations, and community stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and enhance disaster preparedness initiatives across the municipality.

In his keynote address, FSUPT BAULETE highlighted the significance of Prevention and Response as two of the four fundamental thematic areas of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM). He emphasized that preventing hazards before they escalate and ensuring a swift, organized response during emergencies are critical in protecting lives, preserving property, and minimizing disaster impacts. He likewise encouraged all stakeholders to sustain strong inter-agency coordination, invest in community preparedness, and uphold a shared commitment to building safer, more resilient, and disaster-ready communities—reflecting the Bureau of Fire Protection's unwavering dedication to public safety and service excellence.

The Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal of Lanao del Norte, under the esteemed leadership of FSUPT BUTCH B BAULETE, DSC, proudly celebrates a remarkable achievement as the Echo Engine Pickleball Club Team emerged as the Overall Champion during the 1st RD's Cup Pickleball Tournament held on May 28, 2026, in Cagayan de Oro City. Demonstrating exceptional skill, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship, the team showcased the competitive spirit of BFP Lanao del Norte, standing out among participating contingents from across the region. Their outstanding performance reflects not only their dedication to the sport but also the organization's commitment to promoting physical fitness, camaraderie, and excellence among its personnel.

The Echo Engine Pickleball Club Team dominated the tournament by capturing five championship titles in the Mixed Intermediate, Men's Intermediate, Men's Novice, Beginner Mixed, and Beginner Women's categories, while also securing a Bronze Medal finish in the Mixed Novice division. This impressive feat solidified BFP Lanao del Norte's position as the tournament's top-performing team and brought immense pride to the province. The victory serves as a testament to the hard work, perseverance, and determination of every player who represented the organization, further inspiring BFP personnel to continue striving for excellence both in public service and in athletic endeavors.
