The Registry of Barangay Inhabitants and Migrants (RBIM) enumerators and encoders training was successfully conducted in five (5) batches from March to April 2026 in the Municipality of Tubod, Lanao del Norte. The activity was attended by a total of 160 enumerators and encoders from the 24 barangays of the municipality.

Coverage of Training (By Batch):
1st Batch (March 17–19, 2026) – 28 participants
2nd Batch (March 23–25, 2026) – 18 participants
3rd Batch (March 25–27, 2026) – 30 participants
4th Batch (April 13–14, 2026) – 53 participants
5th Batch (April 15–16, 2026) – 31 participants

The training enhanced participants' understanding of the RBIM system and improved their skills in data collection and encoding, ensuring accurate and well-organized barangay data to support effective planning and development. The primary goal of the RBIM implementation is to assist the 24 barangays of the Municipality of Tubod in establishing their own comprehensive and updated local database, which will serve as a vital tool for evidence-based decision-making and program implementation.
The activity also emphasized the importance of data privacy. The participants were reminded to safeguard personal information, secure informed consent prior to data collection, and refrain from sharing sensitive information with unauthorized individuals. They were guided to adhere to proper data handling procedures to uphold the rights and confidentiality of individuals within their communities.

This successful activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) Region X, headed by Regional Director Niel Aldrin G. Omega, with the support of Kristin T. Karagdag and Abegial M. Nuevo; the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte (PGLDN) under the leadership of Hon. Mohammad Khalid Q. Dimaporo; the Provincial Population Office (PPO) led by Ananette B. Daniel, the Local Government Unit of Tubod headed by Hon. Dionisio Y. Cabahug Jr.; and the Municipal Population Office (MPO) led by Vifelyn Pasagad, with Franz Marc Alipan and Kathlyn Cabahug.

The activity not only strengthened coordination among regional, provincial, and local offices but also enhanced participants' capacity to effectively implement the RBIM program in their respective barangays, ensuring readiness for data-driven planning and community development.

The Commission on Population and Development Region X, in partnership with the Provincial Population Office of Lanao del Norte, successfully conducted a three-day training entitled “Peer Educators Training for 7 Teen Centers of Lanao del Norte” on March 11–13, 2026 at Horizon’s Resort Splashaway, Baroy, Lanao del Norte. The activity gathered selected student leaders from various National High Schools across the province, including Marcela T. Mabanta National High School, Diego H. Patigayon National High School, Arsenio A. Quibranza National High School, Lanao del Norte National Comprehensive High School, Lala National High School, Kapatagan National High School, and Bansarvil National High School.

The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of adolescent leaders in delivering peer education and peer helping sessions, equipping them with the necessary knowledge, attitudes, and skills to promote responsible health behaviors among their fellow youth. Specifically, the activity focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of skills-based health education, peer education methodologies, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, gender sensitivity, and life skills development.

Throughout the three-day program, participants engaged in a variety of interactive and experiential learning activities. Day 1 highlighted foundational concepts such as peer education theory and practice, awareness on Project 25@28, and discussions on early sexual initiation and teenage pregnancy. Participants also took part in icebreakers, energizers, and public speaking exercises to build confidence and group cohesion.

On Day 2, the training deepened participants’ knowledge through sessions on STI and HIV/AIDS prevention, gender awareness and sensitivity, and the nature and roles of peer helping. Activities were designed to strengthen communication, teamwork, and facilitation skills, while also introducing life skills-based education and techniques for organizing effective peer education sessions.

The final day focused on application and synthesis of learning, where participants conducted return demonstrations at Lanao del Norte National Comprehensive High School by presenting peer education topics and developed workshop plans for future peer-led activities. The training concluded with a synthesis session, allowing participants to express their insights, commitments, and support in promoting adolescent health and development in their respective schools and communities.

Overall, the activity successfully empowered young leaders to become proactive peer educators and advocates, capable of influencing positive behavioral change and contributing to the advancement of adolescent health and development programs at the grassroots level.

✨ A Space Made for You, With You—and With Our Partners ✨

Today marks a meaningful milestone as we officially launch the Salvador National High School Teen Center —a safe, welcoming, and empowering space created to support adolescents in learning, expression, and growth.

This achievement would not have been possible without the strong collaboration and shared commitment of our partner agencies — the Province of Lanao del Norte (PGLDN), the Department of Education (DepEd), our Local Government Unit - Municipality of Salvador, and the Commission on Population and Development Region X — who continue to stand with us in championing adolescent health and development.

This center is more than a place. It is a promise:
💬 A space where your voice matters
🤝 A community that listens
🌱 A hub for growth and well-being

Welcome to your space. Welcome to the Teen Center. 💙
