LDNPPO CONDUCTS 1-DAY BPAT REFRESHER SEMINAR

LOOK || In celebration of the 31st Police Community Relations (PCR) Month with the theme, “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Ugnayan ng Pulis at Mamamayan: Tapat, Maasahan, at Nararamdaman ng Bayan,” the Lanao del Norte Police Provincial Office, under the supervision of PCOL LEO DE LEON SUA, Provincial Director, conducted a 1-Day Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) Refresher Seminar held at the old conference room, Camp Gallego, Pigcarangan, Tubod, Lanao del Norte, on July 23, 2026.

The activity was attended by the various BPATs of this province, reaffirming the barangay's commitment to strengthening community-based peace and order initiatives.

This refresher training forms part of the LDNPPO's ongoing capability-building program, which aims to professionalize and continually upgrade the skills of barangay peacekeepers in response to evolving security challenges, including insurgency, criminality, natural disasters, and civil disturbances.

Kini ang balaod nga nagdumala sa pagpanag-iya, paghupot, pagdala, paggama, pagpamaligya, ug pag-import og mga armas ug bala sa Pilipinas. Ang nag-unang katuyoan niini mao ang pagmintinar sa kahapsay ug kalinaw sa publiko, pagsumpo sa mga krimen nga may kalabotan sa armas, ug pagpahunong sa pagkatap sa mga ilegal o "loose" nga armas.

Mga Pangunang Kinahanglanon sa Regulasyon:
1. License to Own and Possess Fi****ms (LTOPF)
2. Firearm Registration
3. Permit to Carry Firearm Outside of Residence (PTCFOR).
Key Violations and Penalties

Small Arms: Unlawful possession of small fi****ms carries a penalty of prision mayor in its medium period (typically 6 to 8 years of imprisonment).

Class-A Light Weapons: Unlawful possession carries prision mayor in its maximum period (typically 10 to 12 years of imprisonment).

Class-B Light Weapons / Mounted Weapons: Illegally possessing high-caliber weapons or weapons with mounted magazines can result in reclusion perpetua (up to 40 years of imprisonment) or temporary special disqualification.

Imitation Fi****ms: If a replica or fake gun is used to commit a crime, the law treats it as a real firearm, applying the same harsh penalties.

Ang mga mosunod nga mga giya angay sundon:
1. Pagkuha og permit.
2. Ipahigayon ang rally sa mga giaprobahan nga lugar.
3. Tahura ang balaod publiko.
4. Pakiglambigit sa mga awtoridad.
5. Dili magdala ug hinagiban o bisan unsang makasakit nga butang.

23 July 2026|| In celebration of the 31st Police Community Relations (PCR) Month with the theme, “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Ugnayan ng Pulis at Mamamayan: Tapat, Maasahan, at Nararamdaman ng Bayan,” the Lanao del Norte Police Provincial Office, under the direct supervision of PCOL LEO DE LEON SUA, Provincial Director, conducted a bloodletting activity held at the Conference Room of TCHDCI, Purok 1, Brgy. San Antonio, Tubod, Lanao del Norte, in close coordination with the Tubod Community Hospital and Diagnostic Center, Inc., and the Philippine Red Cross.

It was actively participated by the personnel from the Provincial Headquarters, various Municipal Police Stations, and the Provincial Mobile Force Companies (PMFCs) of this province.

Every drop of blood donated represents a pledge—not just to enforce the law, but to preserve life. This activity is a clear demonstration of the PNP's unwavering commitment to community health and humanitarian service, and a testament to the collective resolve of our police force to serve beyond the call of duty.
