🌏 ON THE WEB I More than a mere sports competition, the first SK Asenso Ozamiz Sports League aims to provide young people with opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork and discipline while encouraging them to stay away from illegal drugs and other harmful activities.

The league opened Aug. 1 as part of the city’s Linggo ng Kabataan celebration, bringing together hundreds of athletes representing 51 barangays.

𝐎𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥, and the municipal officials of the 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚, who graced the event in support of the municipality's farmers and fisherfolk.

This initiative reflects the government's continued commitment to empowering the agriculture and fisheries sector by providing timely assistance and strengthening the livelihoods of those who play a vital role in ensuring food security and community development.

Noong Lunes, Agosto 3, 2026, matagumpay na isinagawa ang Flag Raising Ceremony ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Tudela na dinaluhan ng mga opisyal at kawani ng LGU sa pangunguna ni Mayor Estela Obut-Estano

Bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, ang mga opisyal ay nagsuot ng Filipiniana at Barong Tagalog bilang pagpapakita ng pagmamahal, pagpapahalaga, at pagmamalaki sa mayamang kultura at wikang Pilipino.

Sa isinagawang programa, hinikayat din ang lahat ng mga opisyal at kawani ng LGU Tudela na gamitin at isabuhay ang wikang Filipino sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na pakikipagtalastasan sa buong buwan ng Agosto, bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika at bilang pagpapahalaga sa ating pambansang wika.

Bilang bahagi rin ng programa, binigyang-pagkilala ang lahat ng mga kawani ng LGU Tudela na may kaarawan ngayong buwan ng Agosto. Ang simpleng pagkilalang ito ay tanda ng pagpapahalaga sa kanilang dedikasyon at mahalagang ambag sa patuloy na paghahatid ng mahusay at tapat na serbisyong publiko.

Patuloy nating ipagmalaki ang ating sariling wika, kultura, at pagkakaisa sa paglilingkod para sa mas maunlad na Bayan ng Tudela.

📍OZAMIZ CITY I A total of 716 beneficiaries from all 51 barangays in Ozamiz City received ₱3,000 worth of nutritious food packs during the 4th wave of the Department of Social Welfare and Development's (DSWD) Walang Gutom Program food redemption activity held on July 27, 2026, at the Barangay Tinago Covered Court.

As one of the national government's flagship anti-hunger initiatives, the Walang Gutom Program aims to reduce involuntary hunger, combat malnutrition and stunting, and strengthen food security among vulnerable Filipino families by improving access to safe, nutritious, and sufficient food.
