Minister Ali Reviews Progress on Housing Projects for Former Combatants Amid Holidays

LANAO DEL SUR — Demonstrating a steadfast commitment to regional development, Minister Ali continued his field inspections of key infrastructure projects throughout Lanao del Sur and Lanao del Norte, even during the holiday season.

Among the sites visited were the 50-unit MHSD-BARMM Resettlement Project in Barangay Punud, Tangcal, Lanao del Norte, and another 50-unit Housing Resettlement Project in Barangay Udalo, Piagapo, Lanao del Sur. Both initiatives are designed to provide decent, secure housing for former Moro Islamic Liberation Front (M**F) and Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) combatants.

During his visit, Minister Ali emphasized the urgency of delivering these vital services to their rightful beneficiaries. “The BARMM is the fruit of decades of armed struggle by the Mujahideens. It is only fitting that we now deliver decent homes to them,” he stated.
