Under the directives of the Provincial Fire Director, SUPT FERNANDO NOEL DC DE LEON, SRF personnel of BFP Cagayan provides assistance in the evacuation of affected families at Allacapan and Ballesteros, Cagayan due to TY "Neneng".

Meanwhile, the two other teams of BFP-SRF Cagayan are providing motorist assistance and conducting roving and water level monitoring while awaiting for possible augmentation at 2nd district for additional manpower.

BFP-SRF Cagayan personnel were divided into 3 teams to augment at 1st district (Sta. Teresita, Cagayan), 2nd District ( Allacapan, Cagayan) and 3rd District (Tuguegarao City, Cagayan) for fast and adequate response.

Under the leadership of the Provincial Fire Director, SUPT FERNANDO NOEL DC DE LEON, all fire stations within AOR of BFP-CAGAYAN are conducting activities that will prevent or mitigate the damaging effects of the Tropical Depression “Maymay”, such as the following:

 ✅Accounting of Personnel and Equipment
 ✅Continuous water level monitoring
 ✅Close coordination with the LGU,
PDRMMO and other concerned
agencies
 ✅Pre-emptive evacuation
✅ Motorist assistance
 ✅Relief Operations
✅Road Clearing Operations

Further, this office closely monitors the situations in all affected municipalities ensuring preparedness of its Rescue Capability in any case of emergency.

11 October 2022| Awarding of Certificate of Training and National Certificate (NCIII) to the completers of the Practical Driving Course offered by TESDA RO2.

Through the initiative of the Provincial Fire Director of Cagayan, SUPT FERNANDO NOEL DC DE LEON, BFP and with the unwavering support of the Regional Director of BFP RO2 CSUPT RIZALDE M CASTRO, BFP and the TESDA RO2 headed by DIR. ARCHIE A GRANDE, CESO III, 32 BFP Personnel had completed their 3-day Practical Driving Course (NCIII) and had successfully passed the assessment. This provides an enhancement in their driving skills specifically in the operation of fire trucks. They will be designated as Driver Pump Operators in their respective stations.
This endeavor aims to equip the BFP personnel skills and knowledge in the operation of Bus, truck and vehicles under the LTO restriction codes of 3 to 5 thereby adding qualified fire truck driver pump operators in fire stations and providing a more reliable and adequate fire and emergency response capability.

Under the leadership of the Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, SUPT FERNANDO NOEL DC DE LEON, personnel of this office together with personnel from Tuguegarao City Fire Station and Office of the Civil Defense evaluated the Earthquake Drill conducted by the Police Regional Office 2.

Meanwhile, the on-duty personnel of BFP-Cagayan also performed the "duck, cover and hold" in observance of the 3rd quarter National Simultaneous Drill.

BFP-Cagayan headed by the Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, SUPT FERNANDO NOEL DC DE LEON, offered a thanksgiving eucharistic mass for his recent promotion, the same was presided by Fr. Fernando A. Baculi.

Fr. Baculi has given a very meaningful message, that is, just like how our Acting Provincial Fire Marshal got his promotion, if we were not able to attain something, let us not judge the plan of the Lord by the standards of the world. Some may discourage you and some may even deny you at first, but if you persevere and not let these stop you, God himself will give what you truly deserve in His divine timing.

06 September 2022|Practical Driving Course (NCIII)

Through the initiative of Acting Provincial Fire Marshal SUPT FERNANDO NOEL DC DE LEON and in coordination with TESDA RO2, the first batch of the Practical Driving Course for NC III commenced and was participated by seventeen (17) BFP-Cagayan personnel who will then be designated as Driver Pump Operators in their respective stations providing enhancement in their driving skills specifically in the operation of fire trucks.

05 September 2022|Disinfection of classrooms designated for the conduct of Electrical Engineers and Master Electricians Licensure Exam

Through the leadership of Acting Provincial Fire Marshal SUPT FERNANDO NOEL DC DE LEON, disinfection teams, composed of BFP personnel from different fire stations within BFP-Cagayan, were organized to conduct disinfection at specified licensure examination venues. This is to ensure the safety of the examinees and examiners as well as the students, teachers and non-teaching personnel who will occupy the same.

On 05 1700H September 2022, the first disinfection team was deployed at Tuguegarao North Central School to disinfect the classrooms used for the conduct of Electrical Engineers and Master Electricians Licensure Exam.

Nabuwal ang isang Acacia Tree, na ayon sa mga residente ay mayroon na mula pa noong World War II, sa Capatan, Tuguegarao. Ang nasabing puno ay humambalang sa daan kaya itinawag kaagad ito sa tanggapan ng Task Force Lingkod Cagayan na agad rin tumugon kasama ang PDRMMO, NAVY, ARMY, MARINE at BFP-SRF. Mabilis namang natapos ang Clearing Operations na isinagawa dahil sa pagtutulungan ng mga nasabing ahensya.

BFP-R2 Strikes 2!

Today, 06 June 2022 at 1130H, joint elements of Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU)/ Provincial Intelligence Unit and Personnel of BFP-Region 2 conducted an entrapment operation that resulted in the arrest of two (2) suspects namely Isabelo V Ruiz, 61 and Anafe DP Sumacbay, 45 for extorting money from a Fire Officer 1 applicant. The suspects were arrested instantaneously after receiving the marked money amounting to Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000) and were turned-over to the Duty Custodial Officer of Tuguegarao City Police Station for temporary custody. The TCPS is preparing necessary documents needed for filing of cases against the two suspects, and in the event that you encountered them before having the same experience, please call Tuguegarao City Police Station Hotline: 0917 1328 755.

BFP-Region 2 will tirelessly pursue in the effort of ending the money-making activities which has been attached to recruitment. The Regional Director, BFP-R2, CSUPT RIZALDE M CASTRO is, again encouraging everyone, most especially the applicants to help the agency in finishing this scam. Wala pa ring bayad maging bumbero.
