Sgt Ronald P. Pagayatan (AGS) PA, Civil-Military Operations (CMO) NCO of this Center, conducted a lecture on Republic Act No. 7077, otherwise known as the Citizen Armed Force or Armed Forces of the Philippines Reservist Act, for the 62 participants of the Youth Leadership Summit facilitated by the 17th Infantry Battalion, 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, at the Farm School, Brgy. Angkiray, Amulung, Cagayan.

The lecture aimed to enhance the participants' understanding of the legal basis, organization, and essential role of the Reserve Force in supporting national defense, public safety, and community development. It likewise highlighted the values of volunteerism, patriotism, and civic responsibility, encouraging the youth to become active partners in nation-building and inspiring them to consider serving as members of the Reserve Force in the future.

The activity also formed part of this Center's continuing advocacy to educate and raise awareness among the youth on the significant role of the Reserve Force in safeguarding national security, promoting community resilience, and fostering a culture of patriotism, volunteerism, and civic responsibility.

LTC EDWIN C. GUILLERMO, GSC (Inf) PA (Res), Commandant of the CSU–Lal-lo ROTC Unit, together with SSg Ferdinand T. Butac (Inf) PA, Admin NCO, and the unit's training staff, attended the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Orientation for freshman students of Cagayan State University–Lal-lo Campus at the campus gymnasium in Sta. Maria, Lal-lo, Cagayan.

The orientation served as an important venue to familiarize the students with the objectives, significance, and legal basis of the National Service Training Program. It also provided them with a comprehensive overview of the three NSTP components: the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC), which focuses on military training and national defense preparedness; the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS), which emphasizes community welfare and social development; and the Literacy Training Service (LTS), which prepares students to teach literacy and numeracy skills to children and other members of the community. Through the orientation, the students were equipped with the knowledge necessary to make an informed decision in selecting the NSTP component that best aligns with their interests, abilities, and commitment to nation-building.

The conference focused on matters related to the administration and implementation of the ROTC Program. This was followed by the Board Deliberation for the selection of the incoming Corps Commander and Corps Staff for School Year 2026–2027.

During the second training day, Cpl Orlando Z Villanueva Jr (Inf) PA, Admin and Logistics NCO, conducted a lecture on the Legal Basis of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) for 477 Basic ROTC cadets at the Gymnasium of Cagayan State University–Piat Campus, Brgy. Baung, Piat, Cagayan.

The lecture provided the cadets with a comprehensive understanding of the legal foundations of the ROTC Program, highlighting its objectives, legal mandates, and significant role in developing disciplined, patriotic, and service-oriented citizen soldiers who are prepared to contribute to national defense and community service.

The Training Staff of the CSU Sanchez Mira ROTC Unit, led by MAJ ROWENA B BAUTISTA PA (RES), Commandant, conducted the second training day for 377 Basic ROTC Cadets.

The training staff organized the cadets into their respective platoons. Following the platoon organization, the cadets underwent close-order drill exercises to develop discipline, teamwork, and military bearing. Thereafter, TSg Caesar Neil A Tomas (AGS) PA, Administrative NCO, conducted a lecture on Military Organization.

On the first training day at the Cagayan State University–Carig Campus, LTC REYNOLD S PATTAUI PA (Res), Commandant, CSU–Carig ROTC Unit, and TSg Jerlymar P Manuel (Inf) PA, Admin NCO, together with the unit's training staff, successfully conducted the initial ROTC training for the enrolled cadets.

The students enrolled in the ROTC Program demonstrated enthusiasm and excitement as they participated in their first day of training. The activity commenced with the checking of attendance, followed by the organization of the Basic ROTC cadets into their respective platoons to establish proper unit structure and facilitate effective training management.

The activity was conducted at the Cagayan State University–Carig Campus, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

CAGAYAN STATE UNIVERSITY – PIAT CAMPUS CONDUCTS NSTP-ROTC ORIENTATION AND STATIC DISPLAY

Prior to the orientation, personnel from Bravo Company, 17th Infantry Battalion, 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, conducted a Static Display showcasing military equipment, weapons, and squad organization. The activity provided the students with valuable insights into the mission, organization, and capabilities of the Philippine Army, while inspiring them to embrace the values of discipline, leadership, patriotism, and selfless service.

Cagayan State University–Piat Campus successfully conducted its NSTP-ROTC Orientation for newly enrolled students. During the orientation, LTC RICARDO CASAUAY PA (RES), Commandant, introduced the students to the objectives, components, and requirements of the National Service Training Program (NSTP). Subsequently, the ROTC officers discussed the roles, responsibilities, benefits, and opportunities of becoming ROTC cadets, highlighting the program's role in developing discipline, leadership, patriotism, and civic responsibility.

The activity concluded with the enrollment of students into the ROTC and CWTS components, followed by reminders emphasizing the importance of active participation, discipline, and commitment throughout the academic year.

Maligayang pagdating sa CSU Carig Campus ROTC Unit—kung saan nagsisimula ang paghubog ng mga susunod na lider at tagapagtanggol ng ating bayan!

Sa isinagawang oryentasyon, ipinakilala sa mga bagong kadete ang mga pangunahing pagpapahalaga ng disiplina, pamumuno, pagkamakabayan, at pananagutang sibiko. Binigyang-diin din ang kahalagahan ng integridad, dedikasyon, at walang pag-iimbot na paglilingkod bilang mga magiging kasapi ng Reserve Force.

Ang Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) ay higit pa sa isang programang pagsasanay militar. Ito ay humuhubog ng mga responsableng mamamayan, mahusay na mga lider, at mga reservistang handang maglingkod sa kanilang komunidad at makibahagi sa pagpapaunlad ng ating bansa.

Welcome to the CSU Andrews Campus ROTC Unit!

During the orientation, the new cadets were introduced to the core values of discipline, leadership, patriotism, and civic responsibility. The importance of integrity, dedication, and selfless service as future members of the Reserve Force was also emphasized.
