My wishes of all the luck go to each one of you!

The Bar Examination is not simply a measure of how much law you have memorized. It is a moment that asks something deeper of you: Who have you become through the journey?

For wisdom teaches us that knowledge may fill the mind, but character gives knowledge its purpose.

As you face the Bar, remember that the law is not merely found in books, provisions, and decisions. The law finds its highest meaning when it protects the weak, gives voice to the unheard, defends what is right, and serves the cause of justice.

And so, dear examinees, carry more than your reviewers into the examination room. But carry with you the sacrifices of those who believed in you when the journey seemed long. Carry the lessons of your mentors. Carry the love of your families. And above all, carry the wisdom to remain humble in knowledge and steadfast in purpose.

There may be questions whose answers will challenge your memory. There may be moments when fear tries to speak louder than your confidence. But remember, you do not need to know everything to give your best. You only need to trust everything that your journey has taught you.

A tree does not question whether it is ready to bear fruit when its season comes. It simply stands upon the roots that have patiently grown beneath the soil.

You, too, have grown your roots.

Through years of study.
Through sacrifices unseen by many.
Through failures that taught you resilience.
Through victories that reminded you of what is possible.
Now, it is your season to stand.

The entire Cagayan State University- Carig family stands with you. Go with courage. Go with wisdom. Go with faith.

And when the day comes that you finally hear the words you have long prayed for, “𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆!”, may you look back and remember that it all began with the courage to believe that you could.

𝐂𝐒𝐔–𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐌𝐢𝐝-𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

Cagayan State University–Carig Campus brought together its campus officials, directors, unit heads, and key personnel for the 2026 Mid-Year Performance Review and Operational Planning held from August 26 to 28, 2026, at Cris Del Mar Resort in Bolinao, Pangasinan.

The three-day undertaking served as an important avenue for the campus to assess its performance during the first half of the year, review accomplishments and challenges, recalibrate targets, and strengthen strategies toward achieving its institutional goals by year-end.

The program formally opened on August 26 with the presentation of the rationale, agenda, and welcome message. The opening day also included the presentation of house rules to guide participants throughout the planning activity.

The second day centered on the Management Review, beginning with the State of the Campus Address delivered by Engr. Roger P. Rumpon, Campus Executive Officer. This was followed by a discussion titled “Beyond Limits: Surpassing Targets and Overcoming Challenges” led by Dr. Florentina S. Dumlao, University Technical Consultant.

Participants were also updated on the CSU SPMS and Audit Reports through a presentation by Dr. Rio Averil Pamittan, Campus Planning Coordinator. The program then proceeded with the Mid-Year Calibration: Aligning Targets for a Strong Year-End Finish, where the Campus Directors presented key updates, targets, and strategies for their respective areas.

A significant component of the undertaking was the series of workshops involving the unit heads, providing an opportunity to evaluate performance, address challenges, and refine operational strategies. Culminating the day's activities was the signing of unit commitment targets, reinforcing accountability and the collective responsibility of every office toward the realization of the campus strategic objectives.

The third and final day focused on the closing program. The activity concluded with participants sharing their takeaways, insights, and learnings from the three-day undertaking, reflecting on the discussions and commitments that would guide their respective units moving forward.

As the campus moves toward the final stretch of 2026, the collective insights, commitments, and strategies developed during the three-day undertaking will serve as a roadmap toward a stronger, more focused, and purposeful year-end performance—driving CSU–Carig Campus closer to the realization of its institutional goals.

Congratulations to the passers of the August 2026 Guidance Counselors Computer-Based Licensure Examination!

CSU–Carig Campus achieved an impressive 80.00% institutional passing rate, with 12 out of 15 examinees passing the examination, surpassing the 66.52% national passing rate.

Cagayan State University–Carig Campus successfully culminated its month-long ASEAN Month celebration on August 24, 2026, bringing together students, faculty members, and administrative staff, in a celebration of Southeast Asian heritage, shared values, and regional unity.

Organized by the Office of the Student Development and Welfare (OSDW) in collaboration with the Campus Student Council, the culminating activity featured a series of engaging activities that deepened the participants appreciation of ASEAN traditions.

One of the highlights was the Policy Brief Pitching Competition, which provided students with a platform to present evidence-based policy proposals addressing pressing concerns. Entries focused on the three ASEAN Community Pillars—the Political-Security Community, Economic Community, and Socio-Cultural Community.

Adding color and cultural pride to the celebration was the Parade of Nations, where delegates proudly showcased the traditional and national costumes of their assigned ASEAN member states.
Participants incorporated creative interpretations, hand-held props, headpieces, and flags while maintaining cultural accuracy, respect, and integrity.

The celebration also featured Digital Poster making and Cultural Dance, providing students with avenues to express their creativity and appreciation of ASEAN identity through visual arts and cultural performances.

Another major attraction was the ASEAN Booth Fair, where participating groups transformed their designated spaces into cultural showcases representing their assigned ASEAN nations. The booths featured visual displays, traditional costumes, and other cultural elements. To encourage participation, students were given an ASEAN Passport, which they used to explore the different booths and collect stamps. Those who completed their passports by visiting all participating booths were given the chance to win prizes in a raffle draw during the culminating activity.

More than a celebration of culture, the activity served as a platform for artistic expression, cultural appreciation, and meaningful dialogue. It reflected CSU-Carig Campus commitment to nurturing globally minded students who value diversity, cooperation, sustainability, and inclusivity.
