Tulong ng mga benepisyaryo ng 4Ps, tampok sa Brigada Eskwela sa Isabela

ISABELA — Naging katuwang ng mga paaralan sa lalawigan ng Isabela ang mga benepisyaryo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) sa pagsasagawa ng Brigada Eskwela 2026 bilang paghahanda sa pagbubukas ng School Year 2026–2027.

Sa ilalim ng kampanyang “Bata Balik Eskwela: Sama-Samang Brigada para sa Kinabukasan,” nakibahagi ang mga 4Ps parent-beneficiaries sa paglilinis ng mga silid-aralan, bakuran, at iba pang pasilidad ng paaralan.

Ayon kay Alelie Gallandez Balbin, Parent Leader ng Brgy. San Manuel, ang Brigada Eskwela ay higit pa sa simpleng paglilinis ng paaralan. “Isa itong paraan ng pagpapakita na mahalaga sa atin ang edukasyon at kinabukasan ng mga bata. Kahit maliit na oras o pagod ang maibigay natin, malaking ambag ito upang magkaroon sila ng mas maayos at ligtas na lugar para matuto,” aniya.

20 4Ps youth commit to return to school through Project ABANTE in Dupax del Norte

DUPAX DEL NORTE, Nueva Vizcaya — Twenty out-of-school youth beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) pledged to return to school after participating in Project ABANTE (Aksyon para sa Balik-Aral at Napapanahong Tulong sa Edukasyon), a two-day Bata Balik Eskwela campaign intervention conducted in Dupax del Norte on June 2-3, 2026.

Held at Villa Maria Teresa Resort, the activity aimed to inspire and empower Not Attending School (NAS) youth beneficiaries to continue their education and pursue a brighter future.

Through sessions on self-worth, life goals, the importance of education, and breaking the cycle of poverty, participants reflected on their aspirations and renewed their commitment to learning. Discussions on the Alternative Learning System (ALS), commitment-setting activities, and team-building exercises further encouraged the youth to take concrete steps toward completing their education.

The activity culminated in a goal-setting workshop and graduation ceremony, where all 20 participants formally committed to return to school and continue their educational journey.

Project ABANTE was made possible through the support of the Office of the Congressman, the Local Government Unit of Dupax del Norte, and various cooperatives in the municipality.

DSWD FO2 EPAHP, Isabela Province join National Inception Workshop for UN SDG Joint Project on Zero Hunger

PASIG CITY – The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 02 (DSWD FO2), through the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) program, together with representatives from the Provincial Government of Isabela, participated in the National Inception Workshop for the Joint SDG Fund Project, Zero Hunger Accelerator: Catalysing Local Investments for Food System Transformation and Green Transition, held on 21 to 22 May 2026 at Astoria Plaza, Pasig City.

The two-day workshop gathered key stakeholders from the United Nations, national government agencies, local government units, and development partners to jointly develop the project’s implementation framework and work plan. Among those present were representatives from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), and pilot areas including the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), Region 02, and the Caraga Region.

As the identified primary facility for project implementation, EPAHP will play a key role in advancing the initiative in Region II, with the Province of Isabela serving as the pilot area for the provincial-level implementation. The delegation from Region II included the EPAHP Regional Program Coordinator and representatives from the Provincial Government of Isabela, led by the Provincial Agriculturist.

During the workshop, the group assigned to Outcome 3: Increased Productivity and Resilience of Smallholder Farmers and Fisherfolk presented its recommendations aimed at strengthening support systems, improving market access, and enhancing climate resilience among agricultural producers. The presentation highlighted the group's advocacy for the creation of Barangay Agricultural Extension Workers to provide accessible technical assistance and agricultural services at the grassroots level. The proposal was developed through the contributions of participating agricultural officers from the Province of Isabela.

Organized by the WFP in partnership with the FAO and UN Women, the Zero Hunger Accelerator Project seeks to promote inclusive, resilient, and climate-responsive food systems through strategic investments in nano-financing and strengthened collaboration among government agencies, local government units, and development partners.

The initiative supports the broader goal of accelerating progress toward Sustainable Development Goal 2 (Zero Hunger) while fostering sustainable agricultural development and improved food security in participating communities.

QUIRINO — Nakibahagi ang mga benepisyaryo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) sa mga bayan ng Saguday, Diffun, at Cabarroguis sa isinagawang Brigada Eskuwela 2026 bilang paghahanda sa pagbubukas ng School Year 2026–2027.

Ayon kay Secretary Rex Gatchalian, ang pakikilahok ng mga 4Ps parent-beneficiaries sa Brigada Eskuwela ay bahagi ng kanilang responsibilidad bilang mga benepisyaryo ng programa at isang paraan ng pagbabalik-serbisyo sa komunidad. 500 PLAB beneficiaries ng LGU-Gattaran, sumailalim sa cash-for-training

PROJECT LAB UPDATES | Umabot sa 500 partner-beneficiaries mula sa 10 barangay sa bayan ng Gattaran, Cagayan ang lumahok sa Cash-for-Training (CFT) ng Project LAWA at BINHI bilang paghahanda sa implementasyon ng programa ngayong 2026.

Pinangunahan ng DSWD Field Office 02 ang dalawang araw na pagsasanay na naglalayong ihanda ang mga benepisyaryo para sa pagpapatupad ng mga proyektong nakatuon sa pagpapalakas ng food security, water sufficiency, at katatagan ng mga komunidad laban sa epekto ng climate change at iba pang kalamidad.

Sa isinagawang pagsasanay, tinalakay ng DSWD ang mga pangunahing alituntunin at mandato ng Project LAWA at BINHI, mga konsepto ng Climate Change Adaptation at Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM), gayundin ang iba't ibang programa at serbisyo ng ahensya. Binigyang-diin din ang mga tungkulin at responsibilidad ng mga partner-beneficiaries upang matiyak ang maayos na pagpapatupad, pangangasiwa, at pagpapanatili ng kanilang mga proyekto.

Nakiisa rin sa aktibidad ang mga kinatawan mula sa Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), at Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO). Nagbahagi sila ng teknikal na kaalaman at gabay sa wastong pagtatatag at pamamahala ng mga proyekto sa ilalim ng programa.

Implementasyon ng 2026 Project LAWA at BINHI, sinimulan na sa Sto. Niño, Cagayan

PROJECT LAB UPDATES | Pinalakas ng DSWD Field Office 02 ang kakayahan ng mga partner-beneficiaries sa Sto. Niño, Cagayan na makamit ang pangmatagalang seguridad sa pagkain at tubig sa pamamagitan ng Project LAWA at BINHI.

Bilang bahagi ng implementasyon ng programa, nagsagawa ang DSWD ng Cash-for-Training (CFT) upang ihanda ang mga benepisyaryo sa pagpapatupad ng mga proyektong nakatuon sa climate-resilient food production at sustainable water management.

Tampok sa pagsasanay ang mga teknikal na sesyon ukol sa pagtatatag ng Small Farm Reservoir (SFR) sa ilalim ng LAWA at Communal Garden sa ilalim naman ng BINHI, mga proyektong naglalayong palakasin ang lokal na produksyon ng pagkain at matiyak ang sapat na suplay ng tubig sa mga komunidad.

Ayon sa mga kinatawan ng Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) at Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), makatutulong ang mga proyektong ito upang matugunan ang mga hamon dulot ng pabago-bagong klima habang pinatatatag ang kabuhayan ng mga benepisyaryo.

Nagbahagi rin ang MAO ng mga pananim na mas angkop sa kasalukuyang kondisyon ng panahon upang mapataas ang ani at mabawasan ang panganib ng pagkalugi ng mga magsasaka.

Kasabay nito, binigyan ng DSWD ang mga kalahok ng kaalaman hinggil sa Climate Change Adaptation at Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) upang higit na mapalakas ang kahandaan ng kanilang mga komunidad sa harap ng mga kalamidad at iba pang environmental risks.

Mahalagang bahagi ng Project LAWA at BINHI ang pagbibigay ng mga kasanayan at kaalamang magagamit ng mga benepisyaryo upang matiyak ang pagpapatuloy at pagpapanatili ng mga proyekto.

DSWD FO2 Awards Livelihood Assistance to PAMANA Associations in Conflict-Vulnerable Areas

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 02 (DSWD FO2), Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) LGU-Led Program, successfully conducted the awarding of livelihood assistance checks and Certificates of Accreditation to PAMANA Livelihood Program Associations (PLPAs) in conflict-vulnerable areas on June 2, 2026, at the Municipal Lobby of Claveria, Cagayan.

The activity was led by Assistant Regional Director for Operations (ARDO) Franco G. Lopez, together with Pamana at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) LGU-led Program PDBBM Regional Program Coordinator Michael Angelo Bautista.

In ARDO Lopez’ message, he emphasized that peace and development are achieved through unity, cooperation, and responsible stewardship among community members and local stakeholders. He encouraged the beneficiaries to maximize the assistance provided to improve their livelihoods and contribute to the continued growth and development of their communities.

A total of nine (9) PAMANA Livelihood Program Associations (PLPAs) received P300,000 worth of livelihood assistance each, amounting to P2.7 million, benefiting 197 association members from conflict-vulnerable communities. The payout marks the first livelihood assistance release under the PDBBM PAMANA LGU-Led Program, reflecting the government's continuing commitment to empowering communities and sustaining peace through inclusive development initiatives.

The activity was attended by Municipal Mayor Hon. Lucille Angelus Guillen-Yapo, Vice Mayor Fredelino D. Agpuldo, and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO) Joseph A. Villanueva, who expressed their support for the program and its efforts to uplift the lives of residents in conflict-affected and conflict-vulnerable areas.

The livelihood assistance aims to enhance economic opportunities, strengthen community resilience, and contribute to the government's peace and development agenda. Through the PAMANA Program, DSWD continues to empower communities by providing sustainable livelihood opportunities that foster self-reliance, social cohesion, and inclusive growth.
