Good morning, CSUans.

Upon the guidance of the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), face-to-face classes in all Cagayan State University campuses shall resume today, July 25, 2026.

Recognizing that weather conditions and flooding may still vary across different municipalities, students who remain unable to travel safely to their respective campuses are advised to coordinate with their instructors regarding their situation.

As academic activities resume, everyone is encouraged to continue exercising caution and prioritizing their safety and well-being. Let us remain vigilant and extend our support to communities that continue to recover from the effects of Typhoon Kiyapo.

Pursuant to the request of the Office of the Student Regent, and as approved by the Office of the OIC University President upon the recommendation of the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), classes in all Cagayan State University campuses are suspended effective today, July 24, 2026, starting at 4:30 PM, due to persistent heavy rainfall, flooding in various areas, and the prevailing Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals affecting several municipalities where CSU campuses are located.

This measure is undertaken to ensure the safety and welfare of students, faculty, and personnel who may be exposed to hazardous travel conditions brought about by the inclement weather.

Please be guided accordingly and continue to monitor official CSU channels for further announcements.

π—œπ—‘ 𝗣𝗛𝗒𝗧𝗒𝗦 | The CSU Andrews Campus Student Council successfully conducted the Leaders Congress 2026 on July 09, 2026, at Cagayan State University - Andrews Campus Gymnasium, bringing together student leaders for a day of oath-taking, leadership development, and insightful discussions on governance, communication, and purposeful leadership.

The program started with the opening remarks delivered by CSC President Julius Ceazar Balayan, who emphasized the importance of leadership, service, and collaboration among student leaders.

Following his remarks, CEO Terence Alfredo Roberto Tejada, MBA, officiated the Oath-Taking Ceremony, inspiring the delegates to serve with integrity and dedication. The event also featured insightful presentations from Mr. Shalimar Anacio on leadership principles, Dr. Recto A. Aguirre and Sir Francisco Catriz on GPOA, Letters, and Documents, and Ms. Xyrene Keith Medrano on Financial Statements.

The event aimed to empower student leaders with knowledge and skills essential for effective service and responsible governance. Through this gathering, the participants gained valuable insights to serve their respective communities with excellence and commitment.

Cagayan State University - Andrews Campus is set to hold the Campus Leaders’ Congress 2026 on July 9, 2026, at 7:00 AM at the Andrews Claude Convention Center.

As the university welcomes a new generation of student leaders, the congress marks the beginning of a shared commitment to purposeful leadership, collaborative governance, and meaningful service. Bringing together newly elected officers from the College Student Councils and recognized campus organizations, the event aims to equip participants with the knowledge, perspective, and direction needed to effectively serve the student body throughout the academic year.

The program will feature the Official Oath-Taking Ceremony and the General Plan of Action (GPOA) Crafting Session, and Financial Statement topic where student leaders will identify priorities, develop strategic initiatives, and establish a unified direction for their respective organizations.
