In the spirit of bayanihan, the PGC Finance Cluster, composed of the Provincial Budget Office, Provincial Accounting Office, Provincial Treasury Office, and Provincial Assessor’s Office, shared its “Gift of Love” with the residents of Brgy. Barancuag and Brgy. Battung, Tuao, Cagayan, communities heavily impacted by flooding brought by the recent typhoon. Together, we continue to bring hope, care, and support as they recover and rebuild.

In support of the celebration of World Bamboo Day, a meaningful tree planting activity was conducted today at Fugu, Tuao, Cagayan. This initiative was spearheaded by the Provincial Natural Resources and Environment Office (PNREO), under the leadership of Atty. Leonard Beltran, as part of the continuing advocacy of the “I Love Cagayan River Movement.”

The activity was further strengthened by the active participation of the Provincial Budget Office (PBO), headed by Mr. Raynald Raul B. Ramirez, demonstrating their firm commitment not only to fiscal responsibility but also to environmental protection and community service.

This collaborative effort underscores the vital role of bamboo and trees in advancing environmental sustainability, enhancing climate resilience, and ensuring a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable future for the people of Cagayan. 🎍🍃
