To strengthen the protection of communities and farmlands against flooding, the DPWH-Isabela 1st District Engineering Office has completed two flood control structures along the Cagayan River, particularly along the stretch from Brgy. Alibagu and Brgy. Baligatan, City of Ilagan, Isabela.

The completed flood control structures, which were implemented under Package 3 and Phase 2-Package 3, are designed to prevent riverbank erosion, reduce the risk of flood damage, and improve the safety of residents living in vulnerable areas along the river, which swells during heavy rains.

Completion of the said projects, which have a total length of 600 lineal meters, is part of DPWH’s continuing efforts to develop vital infrastructure that safeguards lives, properties, and agricultural resources while supporting economic growth, as well as improving living conditions for the residents of Barangays Alibagu and Baligatan and neighboring communities.

Nakumpleto na ng DPWH-Isabela 4th District Engineering Office ang konstruksyon ng Mapalad Flood Control Structure sa Section 2, Barangay Mapalad, San Agustin Isabela, upang magbigay ng proteksyon kontra sa baha para sa kabuhayan ng mga residente at mga pampublikong pasilidad, at maging sa mga kalapit na komunidad.

Ang naturang flood control structure na may habang 360 linear meters ay ipinatupad sa ilalim ng Basic Infrastructure Program o BIP – Flood Mitigation Structure Protecting Major/Strategic Public Building/Facilities.

Ang nasabing proyekto ay bahagi ng patuloy na mandato ng DPWH na palakasin ang mga mekanismo laban sa baha at itaguyod ang kaligtasan ng publiko at paglago ng ekonomiya sa buong rehiyon.

Natapos na ng DPWH-Nueva Vizcaya 1st District Engineering Office ang konstruksyon ng Salinas–Mapayao Concrete Road sa Barangay Salinas, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya.

Ang bagong sementadong daan ay may haba na 0.404 kilometro, lapad na 5.00 metro, at kapal na 0.20 metro.

Saklaw din nito ang paglalagay ng road shoulders, curb at gutter, V-cut lined canals, drainage, at wheel guards slope protection sa mga kritikal na bahagi ng kalsada para masiguro ang kaligtasan ng mga biyahero.

Sinasalamin din nito ang patuloy na dedikasyon ng DPWH sa paghahatid ng de-kalidad na imprastraktura na nagpapabuti sa mobilidad at transportasyon, at sumusuporta sa pag-unlad ng komunidad at turismo.

PANOORIN l Kasalukuyang ipinapatupad ng DPWH-Quirino District Engineering Office ang Phase I para sa konstruksyon ng isang multi-purpose building sa Maddela, Quirino na magsisilbing satellite office ng Provincial Government of Quirino kapag natapos na.

Layunin ng proyekto na mailapit ang serbisyo publiko sa mga residente ng Maddela at Nagtipunan na sa ngayon ay kailangan pang bumiyahe patungo sa Cabarroguis kung saan matatagpuan ang kapitolyo. Nagsimula ang Phase I noong Agosto ng nakaraang taon at sa ngayon ay patuloy ang progreso.

Sinasalamin ng proyekto ang dedikasyon ng DPWH na mapabuti ang akses sa mga pasilidad ng gobyerno sa pamamagitan ng pagpapatupad ng mga mahahalagang proyektong pang-imprastraktura.

The Tuguegarao-Solana Steel Bridge is OPEN FOR LIGHT VEHICLES tomorrow, August 5, 2026, from 5:00 AM to 7: 30 AM only.

The permitted hours for light vehicles are reiterated, as follows:
β€’Daily: 5:00 AM – 7:30 AM
β€’Weekends: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
β€’Condition: Open only if there is no construction activity

Motorists traveling outside the permitted hours and other vehicles weighing 15 tons or less are advised to use the Buntun Bridge.

The Tuguegarao-Solana Steel Bridge may close during permitted hours for construction needs or public safety. An advisory on the temporary closure will be announced.

Napapakinabangan na ang isang bagong multi-purpose building sa Barangay 1, Jones, Isabela bilang sentro ng mga aktibidad at pampublikong serbisyo sa komunidad.

Ang multi-purpose building ay may kabuuang floor area na 450 square meters. Nilagyan din ito ng entablado (stage), mga industrial fan, at basketball floor painting upang mas maging angkop sa mga palaro, asamblea, kultural na pagtatanghal, at maging sa mga emergency response operations sa panahon ng sakuna.

Ang nasabing proyekto ay naisakatuparan sa ilalim ng Basic Infrastructure Program o BIP for Multi-Purpose Buildings and Facilities to Support Social Services. Layunin nitong magkaloob ng ligtas, komportable, at maayos na pasilidad para sa mga pagpupulong, aktibidad ng barangay, at iba't ibang serbisyo ng pamahalaan.

Inaasahan na ang bagong multi-purpose building ay hindi lamang magiging isang simpleng istruktura, kundi ito ay magagamit upang mas mapatibay ang pagkakaisa at mas mapabilis ang paghahatid ng serbisyo sa bawat pamilya sa komunidad.
